Il Nido sul Tetto

The apartment is located in Cannaregio, in the heart of Venice, close to some of the most important attractions of the city: the Rialto bridge, the open-air fish, fruit and vegetable market, the Jewish Ghetto with 5 synagogues, some of which can be visited. The church of the Madonna dell'Orto (with Tintoretto's frescoes), the Cà D'Oro, the Venice Casino and the church of Miracoli, the first example of a Renaissance church in Venice.

The "Nido sul Tetto", is on the fourth floor, has an area of about 750 square feets. The entrance, on "Calle Larga" is common to only two properties,
The bright and quiet apartment enjoys a wonderful view (almost three hundred and sixty degrees over the roofs of Venice).

The entrance floor, equipped with a service toilet, is an "open space" in which the kitchen, the dining area and the living room are located. The sleeping area and the main bathroom are located in the attic area on the upper floor.

The amenities of the house include: air conditioning, heating, wifi, TV, washing machine, iron/ironing board,. The kitchen is equipped with: oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, pod coffee machine, microwave, toaster, pots/dishes/utensils. The sofa in the living room is a French bed.

The apartment, like almost all Venetian houses, does not have a lift.

On the top floor there is light, you can enjoy the view and there is no one overhead, while the lower floors in the narrow calli often have little light and can be humid.

The district is still inhabited by Venetians and maintains its genuine atmosphere with small shops for everyday life,
It is close to the "Fondamenta della Misericordia" and the "Canale di Cannaregio", where, in the evening towards sunset, it is a tradition for Venetians returning from work to stop in the picturesque "Bacari" bars for a glass of wine and a cicchetto " Ombra e Cicchetto” and lots of “ciaccole” talk.

For a tourist, after a day of walks and museums, it is a pleasure to taste this local tradition with them.
