The Guest House takes its name from the very particular and ancient bridge without parapet, one of the entrance of the house, which is the only one remained in the town of Venice.
“3749 Ponte Chiodo” offers the opportunity to feel the spirit of Venice with accommodation in a recently restored antique Venetian house.
It is located near the famous palace Ca’ d’Oro and, across the Grand Canal, from the famous Rialto fish and spice Market, then not far from St. Mark Square.
The bed & breakfast gives you the opportunity to be in the centre of the city, but at the same time, is located on a quiet street away from the busiest tourist thoroughfares. On leaning out from the windows of the well-appointed and comfortable rooms you can admire its typical Venetian garden, where in the summer you can have your breakfast.
Alternatively take in the picturesque view along the canal running along the main façade of the building, leading the lagoon.

The breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30 am. It is also possible, if you wish, to use the kitchen to have a tea, a coffee or to drink something after a long walk across Venice. During the summer season the breakfast is served in the garden.
The breakfast offers fresh bread and croissants (they arrive every morning from a nearby bakery), juices, yogurts, typical venetian biscuits (buranei), marmalade, cheese, boiled eggs, cakes, cornflakes, muesli, salami, mortadella, cheese, season fruit, and of course, coffe, cappuccino, chocolate and several qualities of tea.

Fantastic stay for 2 nights! Loved the location on a beautiful canal near some great quieter streets and authentic restaurants. Mattia is wonderful and made us feel valued and welcome, giving a great itinerary for our days. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but overall we were very happy with our stay! Lovely communal area and garden - very charming.

It seemed that nothing was missing. The service was friendly and there was a lot of attention to detail. The abundant breakfast served in the garden, you could make tea/coffee by yourself, the owner was very helpful (he even let me leave my suitcase in the property after check-out so I could explore before catching the train). The room was small but clean and comfortable with air conditioning. I loved it so much.

The garden is an oasis of peace while the manager gave us very useful advice on lesser-known corners of Venice, less crowded by tourists.

Lovely hosts and very friendly staff. Breakfast was great, loved the variety and sitting in the beautiful garden/courtyard. Nice neighbourhood and fairly easy to walk to the main sites. The list of restaurants given to us was so helpful and we had some amazing food because of it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Dopo 3 giorni passati qui posso dire che come rapporto qualità/prezzo è la zona migliore di Venezia.
Con il titolare Mattia si raggiunge subito un un'intesa familiare.
Se dovessimo ritornare qui non avremmo dubbi sulla struttura da scegliere!

We had stayed at 3749 Ponte Chiodo for two nights. Mattia was a very nice and helpful host, he taught us how to get around in Venice and he recommended us great traditional places for lunch and dinner. His B&b was clean, tidy and the breakfast was good.
Should you want to stay at a peaceful place, doubtless I recommend Mattia’s one!

Chambre correct sans bruit extérieur mais nuisance intérieure vieille maison donc pas d' insonorisation.
Pas d'accueil en journée le propriétaire vient le matin digicode pour entrer dans la cour avec boite pour les clés de la chambre.
Petit déjeuner très simple. les adresses de restaurant fourni ne sont pas toujours approprié à vérifier.

Mattia est un hôte très charmant et de bons conseils, il aime prendre du temps avec ses invités le matin et parle bien le français, le jardin et la terrasse sont très agréables notamment pour prendre le petit déjeuner.

Da Matteo ottima accoglienza e soprattutto ottimi consigli su come trascorrere al meglio la nostra vacanza. Ci sono state infatti fornite utili informazioni su itinerari da seguire per visita della città, orari in cui visitare i siti, suggerimenti su alcuni luoghi o palazzi interessanti e poco promossi nelle guide turistiche ed anche utili consigli su dove mangiare.

Zona comodissima, B&B perfetto. Curato esteticamente e pulitissimo. Il proprietaro, veneziano doc è molto cortese e disponibile e dispensa ottimi consigli sulla città. Torneremo sicuramente.
