Description

The accommodation we offer is within a family environment. Located in the historic heart of Venice, near the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, one of the most beautiful in the city. The view opens onto a small square with a tourist gondola landing. Nearby you will find: the Rialto Bridge in 7 minutes, St. Mark's Square in 10 minutes, and the embarkation points for Murano, Burano, Torcello, and the smaller islands, as well as the Lido di Venezia and Marco Polo airport in 5 minutes. Many historical and artistic sites can be reached on foot in a short time.

You can have a wonderful experience staying in the room that was the location for the famous film "Bread and Tulips". The environment has been recently restored, the bathroom is separate from the room and for the exclusive use of guests. The entrance is a shared space with the owners, but it offers guests the possibility to exclusively use the small kitchen and a table with seating.

This little apartment space is in a great location with easy access to quieter and touristy areas of Venice. There were great suggestions of places to eat and things to do with a very friendly host. It is a bit noisy in that area, but earplugs made it a non-issue.

I stayed in this B&B for a weekend and I can only leave a more than positive review. The place is welcoming, clean, and well-kept in detail, but what really made the difference was the kindness of the owner. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a smile and great willingness, making us feel right at home. Always attentive to our needs, he gave us excellent advice on what to visit in the area and where to eat. It is rare to find such authentic hospitality. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful stay, with a human touch that makes the experience truly special.

My stay with Federico and Catia was perfect! I had asked if I could drop off my luggage in the morning and I was even able to go directly to the room. Federico warmly welcomed me, showed me the accommodation and gave me tips for Venice. He was very reachable for questions and always answered quickly. You live on the ground floor, and in addition to your own bathroom, there is even a well-equipped small kitchen with cooking plates, microwave, and the possibility to make coffee and tea. I had booked without breakfast. The location is perfect, right in the city center. Many attractions are within a 10-15 minute walk. I would book there again anytime. The bed and breakfast is located in one of the most characteristic areas of Venice but not overwhelmed by mass tourism. A 5-minute walk from Strada Nuova and 10 from Rialto (and the vaporetto). The room is comfortable and very clean, the bathroom (external) as well. The presence of air conditioning is not a given but is essential in the summer months. There is a small kitchenette where you can make yourself a coffee and also some snacks (cookies, rusks). Federico is a discreet and always very helpful manager, he can give you tips on restaurants, bars, and Venetian attractions, even unusual ones. I highly recommend it.

Very good stay at Pane e Tulipani with Frederico and Catia. The welcome is perfect and our hosts very friendly! Frederico gave us lots of advice. The accommodation is located in a lively and rather quiet neighborhood, close to everything. It is perfectly equipped and clean. Frederico is remarkably kind! If we were to return to Venice, we would choose this accommodation again with pleasure.

Mr. Federico was very kind and helpful with the luggage storage request (not expected). Central structure 20 minutes from the station and very clean, in a very quiet area next to a pleasant little square where you can have breakfast. I highly recommend this structure.

We were so pleased with this booking and would definitely book again. The location is great - it’s like a 15-minute walk to everything but far enough from the prime tourist spots that it’s much quieter. There are some nice places to eat right around the corner and a Co-op grocery store like a 5-minute walk. There’s often a gondolier in the canal right outside the flat. The room is very spacious. There was a large bed, plenty of outlets, and hangers. The entryway is shared with Federico’s family and there’s a table there if you want to get your own food. There’s a little kitchen area with a sink, small fridge, and hot plate. This is great because we picked up some snacks from the Co-op the first night and could store them there. The bathroom is very nice and has a bidet. It’s all very clean. Federico is very kind and welcoming and has stellar communication - even when my WhatsApp failed me. We were really very happy there and would stay again anytime.

Cozy, clean structure with a well-equipped kitchenette that proved extremely useful for preparing healthy and quick dinners. The location is nothing short of enchanting, a small oasis of peace not far from St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. The owner, Federico, is an exquisite person, kind and always available to provide information and support to his guests. I can only highly recommend staying at Pane e Tulipani.

Our stay in Venice was brightened by the fortunate choice of the B&B: central, quiet, very clean with a nice and very functional bathroom, the extremely kind and helpful owners were so courteous to offer us a great breakfast every morning even though it was not planned. We will definitely come back and recommend it to those who do not know the city because the location of the B&B is very functional.

Exceptional location in a beautiful quiet square near Rialto and San Marco and convenient for taking the vaporetto to the islands. Comfortable room decorated with taste. Very clean bathroom. In the kitchenette there is everything needed to prepare a coffee or tea, Mrs. Catia offered us breakfast. The owners are very kind and helpful. Definitely a place to recommend.

The apartment is beautiful, clean, and very well located. Everything in Venice is within walking distance. The hosts are very warm, caring, and generous. Even though we didn't book breakfast, in the morning we were offered coffee, biscuits, and a little something to eat.

The structure is a few minutes from various vaporetto lines, but in a quiet and not noisy area for the evening. The owners are a delightful couple, very helpful and welcoming. Room, bathroom, living room/entrance, and kitchenette are very clean. Slippers for those who forgot them at home are much appreciated. Even though breakfast was not included, the owners kindly left us coffee, rusks, and some sweet treats. We will definitely come back.

Great solution for visiting Venice. The managers are very kind (they spoiled us with some sweets). The kitchenette is small but well equipped for short periods. To access the bathroom (for exclusive use) you pass through an area where there is a table and chairs which is actually the entrance area for the owners who live on the upper floor; this was not a problem.
