Nestled in the lush green countryside of Portoferraio, this B&B offers a unique experience in an elegant yet familiar setting with authentic flavors.
The house consists of 3 rooms, each with different characteristics and all with a private bathroom (the "Herb Room" has a private but external bathroom adjacent to the room, and does not have a bidet).
A living room with a television, fireplace, and a large library is at your disposal to spend moments of relaxation when the weather does not allow full enjoyment of the outdoor areas.
The kitchen, the heart of the B&B, is the place where homemade sweet breakfasts are prepared, with particular attention to local products.
From 8 to 10, weather permitting, you can enjoy our preparations in the garden, enjoying splendid views of the Gulf of Magazzini and the Castle of Volterraio.
You can relax by taking a swim in the pool (currently under construction), comfortably reading in the garden, or simply strolling through the surrounding countryside.
We will be discreet hosts if you wish, or valuable advisors regarding the most suggestive itineraries or the more unusual and less known aspects of the Island.
We will indicate the restaurants that embrace our philosophy of slow-life, propose local products, and offer traditional dishes revisited in a modern way.

The idea of the B&B was born by chance in the long and hot spring 2020.
As we watched the sunsets, immersed in the silence of our garden, we thought about how rewarding it would be to share so much beauty with people who, like us, had grasped its priceless value.
So, day after day, like a seed that sprouts in the dark, the project of the B&B "Fonte Murata" has matured, giving life to a journey that we want to share with you, certain that you will be our excellent travel companions.

Bei diesen Gastgebern schlägt das Herz jedes Gastes höher! Das Anwesen hoch über dem Meer mit Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse und dem Pool auf das Meer und die Berge, liegt fantastisch. Es ist leise, hinter dem Haus gehen die Wanderwege weg. Die Eigentümer haben die Zimmer liebevollst eingerichtet, das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Alles selber gemacht, mit höchstem Anspruch auf Qualität. Da wir zu Fuß unterwegs waren, haben sie für uns einen Tisch im nahegelegenen Agriturismo-Restaurant reserviert, uns hingeführt und abgeholt. Was für nettes Service. Ist für ein Auto nicht weit, für Wanderer nach einer langen, anstrengenden Tour, zu weit:)
Unsere Bitte, uns einen Teil der gebrauchten Wäsche zu unserem letzten Quartier unserer Reise, nach Portoferraio zu bringen, haben sie uns erfüllt. Dankbar, wanderten wir mit leichterem Rucksack weiter.
Diese Unterkunft können wir von ganzen Herzen empfehlen.
Wir denken sehr gerne an die Herzlichkeit dort zurück.

Il posto è bellissimo con una vista mozzafiato, tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La colazione con prodotti fatti in casa è eccellente ed abbondante.
Il valore aggiunto è dato dai padroni di casa, gentilissimi nel dare tantissimi consigli su spiagge, ristoranti e suggerimenti per cose da fare e da vedere.
Posto e persone sono assolutamente da sperimentare.
Grazie, siamo stati davvero bene.
