Porto Sole is a small family run B&B on the second floor of a historic building on Via delle Galeazze, number 30.
Our location is a peaceful area in the historic center of Portoferraio, exactly where the body of water that was designed for the trades of the Florentine dè Medici family in the 1500s loses its worldly charm and becomes our sea again.
We wanted to add the pleasure of hospitality beyond stereotypes to the house and its position, which we believe are a breath of beauty between sky and sea. The result is bright rooms with a tailor-made design, overlooking a panorama that enchants both the eyes and the soul, and common spaces to be experienced in an atmosphere of total privacy but with the "luxury" of a family welcome.

The breakfast we serve in Porto Sole is an Italian breakfast, not a continental one.
IT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE DURING EASTER AND FROM 15 APRIL TO 30 SEPTEMBER
then select pastry pastries, fruit juice, iced tea, fresh fruit, fresh cereals, some sweets and fresh bread from the bakery, yogurt, jams, honey.
In summer during the rest of the day guests will find iced tea, milk, water, and juice and they can still prepare a good coffee with biscuits and some small sweets (not for a fee).
We are happy to have expanded and isolated the area of ??the house where we prepare and serve breakfast, this has allowed us to offer a space that beyond breakfast hours can also be useful for those who need to work or can study in peace.
Our philosophy is that of a family welcome.
We are not a hotel and we don't want to be.

We are a family In love with Elba but with a passion to travel with family or friends..far and near.
With the passing of the years we realized that our idea of the journey and of being travelers had changed and until a few years ago the choice of "where" to stop was one of many shades.
Now, on the contrary, this "detail" becomes almost essential. In the evening, feel at home where you can indulge in a luxury bed to break the breathless pace of the year and finally treat yourself to the freedom of measured time. Like a nest away from home which delivers emotions to oneself and welcomes and gives you, even for a short time, the things you love to do, reasons to collect new ideas or time to sew together old dreams.
A more modern vision of a trip and the desire to share our love for the island have given life to an old dream.

We are in a peaceful area of the historic center of Portoferraio, precisely in Via delle Galeazze where you can also arrive by car. From the rooms, the sea view is enchanting, overlooking the fishing port on clear days, extending westwards to Monte Capanne.
We are just a few minutes away from the arrival port and the beautiful beaches of the Natural Reserve (Le Ghiaie and Le Viste). Underneath the house, you will find all kinds of services and shops, making it ideal for those who do not want to bring a car or for those who want to use it as little as possible.
Shuttle bus stop 50 meters from the house towards the port, towards the main bus station that connects the entire Elba island, and towards other marvelous beaches on the island (Biodola, Viticcio, Seccione, Acquaviva).

Pro: Very beautiful, bright and welcoming structure. Very comfortable bed and exclusive view of the harbor. Cons: absolute lack of soundproofing in the adjoining and upper rooms, as well as with the adjacent reception. Bathroom without windows and non-functioning extractor.

Porto Sole non è un albergo ma un semplice B&B familiare , per questo non possiamo rispettare le regole dell'hotellerie ma di una semplice e informale accoglienza . I nostri bagni non hanno finestra ma gli estrattori sono sempre in funzione in quanto gestiti in modo centralizzato La ringraziamo comunque per averci scelto e ci auguriamo che il suo soggiorno anche se per lavoro sia stato piacevole .

A beautiful stay at B&B Porto Sole. The quote about the stairs from Pavese immediately makes you understand that this place is extraordinary. The structure is very beautiful and detailed. The sea view room is very spacious, impeccably clean, and the owner's welcome is extremely friendly. Special mention for the breakfast, truly excellent, and for the friendliness and availability of the staff member. I will definitely come back, because I felt at home!

Porto Sole, e così era ogni giorno: portava il sole che inondava la dimora, esposta tutto il giorno dal mattino al tramonto, di luce, di calore e di colori impensabili.
Stanza Vanity con doppio affaccio e terrazza sul Porto Mediceo, no. 1.
Ha salvato letteralmente la nostra vacanza visto il tempo schizofrenico.
Ci sentivamo accolti, coccolati, sicuri come a CASA, proiettati direttamente nella vita del porticciolo come fossimo in un film.
Colazione con paste freschissime pane caffè cappuccino e succhi sempre consumata sulla nostra stupenda terrazza così come aperitivi e qualche cena da asporto, fantastica!
Anna, la proprietaria, fin da subito si è prodigata, visto anche il lungo viaggio in treno, per aiutarci e farci sentire a nostro agio, come solo un'amica sa fare e per questo ti ringraziamo tantissimo.
E Maddalena che ci ha coccolato, anche solo con lo sguardo, ogni giorno ed è venuta incontro a tutte le nostre piccole esigenze quotidiane...grazie...siete magnifiche!

Accolti in una graziosissima casa, il nostro soggiorno presso Porto Sole Rooms è stato perfetto. La stanza è accogliente e pulita, la splendida vista sul porto è la ciliegina sulla torta.
La colazione è abbondante e di vario tipo. Anna (che è anche una guida turistica) è stata esaustiva nel darci tutte le informazioni, dalle spiagge, ai ristoranti, ai mezzi di trasporto. Uno splendido soggiorno.

Struttura di autentico "charme", con materiali utilizzati nella ristrutturazione ed arredamento che evidenziano il buon gusto della proprietà. Poche camere (la nostra, molto ampia, aveva una finestra dalla quale ci siamo goduti fine-serata e risvegli con vista romanticissima sul marina e, la sera di Ferragosto, lo spettacolo pirotecnico in posizione assolutamente "privilegiata"), credo tutte con affaccio su Calata Mazzini, arredate in maniera minimale (letto e materasso comodissimi, anche per me che ho problemi di schiena) ma luminose ed accoglienti. La signora Anna, cordialissima, è stata molto molto discreta ed, allo stesso tempo, presente e sempre, a partire dal check-in, foriera di preziosi consigli necessari per vivere al meglio l'isola, che ho trovato "parecchio affollata" nel periodo di Ferragosto. Gradita e, direi, "molto ben organizzata" l'area ristoro (anche essa dal design "minimale", che apprezzo molto, ma dotata di molti elettrodomestici di alta qualità e ben tenuti e puliti), utilizzabile liberamente (senza vincoli di orario) per la prima colazione e per un rapido "pit stop" rinfrescante (sempre a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti bevande fredde e calde e qualche snack ed una porzione di frigo per depositare generi personali) e rigenerante al rientro (d'accordissimo, inoltre, con la scelta/direttiva di "inibire" l'area alla preparazione ed organizzazione di pranzi e cene, diventerebbe un macello).
Un po' faticose, forse, le rampe di scale da salire per arrivare alle camere, ma anche io che sono un gran pigrone ce l'ho fatta.
In sintesi: un abbraccio, signora Anna, ed arrivederci, speriamo, a presto!

Un B&B curato, accogliente, pulito, nuovo e ben arredato che vanta una posizione unica ed eccezionale (vista spettacolare sul porto di Portoferraio) in una zona piuttosto tranquilla.

Posizione strategica con affascinante affaccio sul porto vecchio; bella struttura d’epoca, ristrutturata con gusto e cura di ogni minimo dettaglio.

Il B&B è un gioiello di stile e per la location! Veramente impeccabile il servizio sia di pulizia che per la colazione! Das Porto Sole ist wirklich eine sehr tolle Unterkunft, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.
Die Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den Hafen war einmalig! Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und Anna ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Es hat alles gepasst.

Siamo stati in questo posto meraviglioso dopo Natale. Molto accogliente, pulito e curato. La posizione è ottima e la vista mozzafiato! La posizione e comodissima e strategica con delle spiagge stupende raggiungibile anche a piedi.
La camera era molto spaziosa, con arredamento curato in ogni dettaglio (come il resto della casa).
La colazione abbondante e il locale dedicato hanno reso il nostro risveglio molto piacevole. La proprietaria di Porto Sole rooms è stata molto gentile e disponibile ma nel contempo riservata.
Torneremo sicuramente e consigliamo di alloggiare in questo angolo di paradiso in un isola stupenda che è l’Elba.

Spectacular location overlooking the harbour of Portoferraio Elba. Large, bright, airy room with balcony. Tastefully restored. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Host was charming, and efficient. Rooms were professionally cleaned daily by smiling Margherita. A happy stay. We will return.

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questo centralissimo B&B e siamo stati molto bene. Lo stile moderno ed essenziale con un piccolo tocco provenzale, la pulizia, il cambio asciugamani e la comodità di avere tutto a due passi hanno contribuito sicuramente a rendere il nostro soggiorno all'Elba molto piacevole.

Sono nato all'Elba ma sono stato cresciuto lontano ed era molta la voglia di tornare.
Questo B&B è molto bello, la location davvero tranquilla seppur centralissima, soprattutto la sera quando viene chiusa la strada e diventa tutta una passeggiata, le stanze ampie e eleganti. Ottima colazione,
un indirizzo da non perdere all'Elba.

Soggiorno spettacolare in questo nuovo B&B sul porto di Portoferraio.
Vista eccezionale. Shopping e negozi comodi. Ristorantini e movida serale.
Tutto molto ok per vivere una vacanza all'isola dell'Elba un po' fuori stagione e con tutte le calette e le più belle spiagge raggiungibili facilmente in auto.

Non ci sono parole per descrivere la completa
soddisfazione (mia e di mio marito) nel soggiornare presso questa particolarissima struttura. Ha lo charme dell'autenticità (è il fedele e impegnativo recupero di una casa ricavata dalle mura medicee del porto) e arredato con estrema maestria da Anna, la proprietaria, con un arredo di design moderno, letti comodissimi e bagni estremamente efficienti e di alta qualità. E proprio il minimalismo dell'arredo mette ancora più in risalto lo spettacolare scenario dell'antico porticciolo su cui si affacciano tutte le camere, accompagnato dal vociare degli immancabili gabbiani. Ci si incanta ad osservare questo quadro marinaro e viene duro partire!
La colazione è self-service nell'equipaggiatissima cucina in comune e se a qualcuno non bastasse quanto lasciato può sempre trovare cosa preferisce sotto casa.
Bravissima Anna e complimenti per il buongusto e la discrezione. Torneremo sicuro coi nostri figli e nipoti. Grazie.

Consigliabile, gestori disponibili e molto cortesi. In un ambiente raffinato ma allo stesso tempo familiare, si respira un aria serena con una vista mare che all'imbrunire riesce ad affascinarti. In due parole: da provare.

Una sosta obbligata a causa del maltempo (le navi non partivano) ci ha dato l'occasione di conoscere questo posto a nostro parere magnifico, perché entrando abbiamo sentito subito il calore e l'atmosfera di una vera casa. È nuovo e ben arredato, la nostra camera aveva una vista straordinaria, calda e pulitissima e in bagno c'era una doccia extralarge.
Siamo rimasti sorpresi perché frequentiamo l'Elba da tanti anni e conosciamo abbastanza bene le sue strutture e secondo noi è un posto unico anche l'atmosfera. Molto gentili e accoglienti anche i padroni di casa.

Io e mio marito frequentiamo l'isola d'Elba ormai da qualche anno ed è davvero difficile trovare una struttura così curata nei dettagli e confortevole come il B&B porto sole. I proprietari disponibili è gentilissimi hanno curato le camere e gli spazi comuni nei minimi dettagli. Insomma il risultato è un alloggio davvero unico in una location deliziosa nel centro storico di porto ferraio che merita assolutamente una visita. Tutte le camere inoltre godono di una vista spettacolare sul porto, che dire speriamo di poter tornare al più presto.

Semplicemente spettacolare.
Struttura recentemente ristrutturata e perfezionata fino al minimo dettaglio, provvista di ogni comfort necessario. La posizione è più che strategica, puoi raggiungere qualunque posto a piedi considerato che sei in pieno centro storico.
La pulizia è impeccabile, e lo staff sempre molto cordiale e disponibile.
Ultima, ma non di poca importanza, la vista mare, appena aperta finestra avrete una vista mozzafiato.
Super consigliato.

"soggiorno bellissimo e romantico"
La struttura del B&B Porto Sole è veramente bella e moderna, adatta a coppie giovani o piccole famiglie.
Gli interni delle camere sono nuovi e di design con un arredamento che a me personalmente piace molto.
Il soggiorno è stato piacevole e i gestori cordialissimi e disponibili per ogni evenienza.
Poi l'Isola d'Elba è stupenda ci piacerebbe ritornare sicuramente.

The B&B is fully restored and beautifully renovated with modern rooms and fantastic bathrooms. It is beautifully located in the old town of Porto Ferraio just meters away from the harbour. The rooms on the lower levels have balconies towards the harbour with a great view. All of the rooms have a seaview, nevertheless. Its located in the old part of the city, a grocery store is just across the street and its not far to any restaurant.
The innkeepers David and Anna are really friendly and nice. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay at and I can warmly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Porto Ferraio.
