The house in Via dell’Albero belonged to a dear friend of my mother: it’s a beautiful flat, inserted in ancient buildings. It’s peaceful and there is a garden too, which is not too common considering its central position in Florence. With my family, I bought it in 2002 and decided to renovate it.

I believe that we all need to respect ancient houses, as they conserve the memory of the people who lived there. For this reason during the renovation works we have maintained its preavious characteristics. In the main hall we have discovered old niches in the wall of bricks and stones – these last coming from the near River Arno- hidden for a long time and witnesses of a probable convent in the past.

We love nature and the harmony that she gives, for this reason we have given the names of typical Tuscan Trees to the rooms.

In 2003 the B&B Casa Corsi opens, after long renovation works. From that moment our commitment is to offer to our guests a peaceful, clean and comfortable stay. Casa Corsi is naturally fresh in summer.

Phone reservation without advance payment, we had some issues in contacting to communicate the arrival time, then Mrs. Fiamma contacted us and managed the whole situation. Kind in allowing us to leave the luggage in the b&b even at the end of the stay. Optimal position for moving around, very close to the train station.

Siamo stati 3 giorni a Firenze e ci siamo trovati benissimo, l’Affittacamere si trova vicino alla stazione e vicino anche la centro. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e disponibile con noi, la stanza era molto grande e spaziosa ottima per noi due.

Very clean, affordable accomodation close to the train station. The double room we were using was large, quite and had mosquito protection. Roberta is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consists of a coffee and a croissant and is served in a close by café. There is free wifi.

La signora Roberta è una persona molto disponibile e ci ha accolto nel migliore dei modi, con cortesia e gentilezza offrendoci un caffè. Tornerei perché è un posto tranquillo (con un giardinetto ben tenuto) e in una posizione strategica a 3 minuti dalla stazione e 10 dal Duomo.
