We are just a short walking distance from the main monuments of the historic center such as the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degliUffizi, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Pitti.

Maybe the detailed information is good to be told before the arrival. For example, about my room, the bathroom is separately located from the bedroom. This would be one important factor to consider during the stay. Hope you think of it. But totally it was a nice stay for me.

A ground floor hotel, very well maintained, recently renovated and welcoming. Spacious and pleasant room, with comfortable beds and antique wardrobe. New bathroom and balcony. Close to the train station and city center. Highly recommended.

I had a really nice stay at Berna Hotel - very friendly and welcoming staff, who went the extra mile for the guest. The hotel is located in the city center right next to the railway station, not far from restaurants and tourist attractions in Florence. We spent two nights at this Bed and Breakfast. At the beginning, we had the worst room, with a very small bathroom and no bidet. During the night, we heard frequent noises due to water suction problems in the bathroom pipes and noises from the autoclave system. Around midnight, the water in the bathroom was no longer available and the manager explained to us that it depended on the poor performance of the reserve, which, due to massive and constant use by multiple users throughout the day, could not guarantee adequate supplies. The next day we were moved to a better room in general; also, the water problem did not occur, plausibly because everyone used it at the same time, giving the reserve time to recharge. We would have appreciated being notified at the time of booking or, alternatively, some consideration on the price as a partial refund for the inconvenience, but none of this happened. For the rest, good breakfast, great location, kind and friendly manager and staff. Average cleanliness.

The Berna Hotel is a bit spartan, but clean and welcoming, near Santa Maria Novella station. The strengths are the location, the price, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. The weak points are the noise and the fact that the room I stayed in did not have an en suite bathroom. However, highly recommended!

Located on a floor of a building served by a small elevator, in a very close area to Santa Maria Novella station. The center is very easy to reach on foot: in about 15 minutes you can directly reach the cathedral, Uffizi, Arno etc. The room with a small balcony was quiet (double glass door), well illuminated, with modern furniture, kettle, and refrigerator. Private bathroom for disabled guests with crystal shower and bidet. Very courteous welcome, with availability for luggage storage both on arrival and departure. Small structure but with excellent continental breakfast.

We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and acquaintances. We had the pleasure of staying there on February 28th. Elegant and meticulously cared for, it is truly very welcoming. We were very impressed by the presence of various 'optional' services, especially the kettle to make herbal teas at any time. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, we had a problem with the car and Mrs. Nadia, very kind and extremely helpful, immediately took action to help us quickly find a mechanic nearby.

Structure that deserves more than the declared 2 stars: for its strategic location to visit the beauties of Florence, very clean and bright room and a large bathroom with a big shower where they provided slippers and a toothbrush, large and comfortable double bed, and with the double windows no noise from the street, but the difference is made by the staff working there, who met all our needs from the first contact to the departure, a special thanks to Nadia for her unforgettable coffee and cappuccino, better than the ones we had at the Bar. So thank you for everything, we felt at home.

For the second year in a row, I returned to Florence with my partner, and for the second year I chose the Berna Hotel. A structure located a stone's throw from Santa Maria Novella and practically close to everything (Duomo, Signoria, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio). Nadia is a kind and welcoming host, always available, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast really abundant, a good mix of sweet and savory. If I were to return to Florence again, Berna would definitely be my choice, a clean and comfortable hotel, recommended to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the city of Dante.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps from the S.M.N. train station and the city center. The structure has been recently finely renovated, the staff is kind and helpful in providing information and advice. With my sister and my boyfriend, we spent five days in Florence and as a facility we chose the Berna Hotel for the very good reviews I read and I would say they were really right! Entering the room there was a scent of clean (in addition to the room being freshly air conditioned), we met Nadia, a really kind, helpful and super nice woman who gave us some tips and information on where to eat or how to get to certain places! The structure is really five minutes from the center of Florence and practically next to Santa Maria Novella! If you are going to Florence and looking for a great b&b I absolutely recommend the Berna Hotel by Nadia! You won't regret it.

Even though I stayed in the Daphne Annex, I checked in and had breakfast at the Berna Hotel. I found the room ready, with clean sheets and a very comfortable mattress. My requests for extra pillows and towels were met without any problem and I was able to use the holiday bonus! The breakfast is abundant and if you have special requests just ask and Nadia will take care of everything. Very convenient if you arrive by train or Flixbus (SMNovella station and T1 stop from Villa Costanza just around the corner). Area with many shops and lots of activity but the new windows ensure silence. On the other side of the street, I highly recommend the Braciere Malatesta Restaurant, excellent prices and a variety of food to satisfy everyone, extremely courteous staff, fabulous internal gardens and atmosphere. A few steps from Piazza della Signoria, I recommend Gustarium for an excellent pizza with organic flour by the slice with quality ingredients and a great Spritz. I thank Nadia and her staff for the welcome and availability.

I am very satisfied with the hotel, in my opinion it should be a 3-star. It has been renovated less than a year ago, the rooms are beautiful, the location is excellent (in front of SMN), good quality/price ratio and very kind receptionist.

The room had a blind bathroom 1m×1m made from a piece of the room. The toilet positioned in a way that it was impossible to sit because the legs hit the old worn wooden sliding door. The shower impossible to use because the water was scarce and there was no mixer. The room's air conditioner was unusable because it pointed at the bed. Very high cost, very poor quality!

Questo hotel ha rispecchiato pienamente le mie aspettative! Io e mio fratello abbiamo pernottato qui sette giorni e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Vicinissimo sia alla stazione che al centro, pulitissimo, stanza calda e confortevole, e personale tanto cortese. Ci sembrava di stare a casa! Le colazioni sono fantastiche, c'è cibo in abbondanza ed è tutto squisito. Non potevamo scegliere di meglio! Senz'altro quando ritorneremo a Firenze sceglieremo di nuovo questo hotel. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo fatto una vacanza per visitare l'arte di Firenze, in questa struttura abbiamo trovato un'accoglienza a dir poco amichevole, tutto pulito e una buona colazione. La struttura è molto vicina ai luoghi che volevamo visitare, e sembrava di essere a casa propria. Se dovessi tornare a Firenze sceglierei sicuramente questa struttura.

Ho alloggiato all’Hotel Berna per 2 notti. Le camere sono pulite e mi è piaciuto l’arredamento che è un contrasto di arredi semplici e barocchi. Il letto era comodo, le lenzuola pulite e il bagno confortevole. Il personale era molto disponibile. Ho apprezzato molto anche la colazione ricca di scelta fra dolce e salato.

Siamo stati in vacanza il 18/08/2020 io ed il mio compagno. Siamo stati divinamente, non sono riuscita a trovare un difetto alla struttura e sul personale. Colazione fresca e abbondante. La proprietaria eccellente. Consiglio una modifica sull'orario della colazione, prolungarla di un'ora visto che viene proposta dalle 8:30 alle 9:30. Consigliatissimo.

Ottima l'accoglienza. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Un grazie a Nadia che ci ha coccolati dall'inizio alla fine del nostro soggiorno come fosse un'amica di vecchia data. La colazione è spettacolare. Ottimo padrone di casa, ottima posizione, ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo! Mi sentivo a casa durante le mie vacanze. Nadia era così gentile e amichevole. L'hotel in sé è in ottima posizione a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella e 10 minuti a piedi da quasi tutte le attrazioni, la condizione era così pulita. Ha reso il mio viaggio ancora più memorabile. Sicuramente la mia prima scelta per il mio prossimo viaggio a Firenze. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un ottimo posto dove stare a Firenze.

La struttura è comoda, vicino alla stazione e al centro. Peccato per la trascuratezza nei particolari (nel bagno manca una mensola un bicchiere anche di plastica per gli spazzolini, la vaschetta del water scarica acqua continuamente le pile del telecomando erano avvolte con il nastro adesivo) con un po' di buona volontà sarebbe una struttura perfetta.

Personale cordiale e disponibile. Struttura comodissima ai mezzi di trasporto è vicina a molti punti di estremo interesse. Forse da migliorare solo (ma poco) la manutenzione ordinaria delle camere: un po' più di attenzione ai dettagli della pulizia renderebbe questo B&B davvero notevole!

La struttura si trova nel quartiere di San Lorenzo, a pochi passi dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella e dal centro, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in circa 5 minuti. La camera era molto silenziosa, pulita e adatta negli spazi per una coppia. Un valore aggiunto: la colazione (preconfezionata) in camera, sempre disponibile e rifornita ogni giorno, che permette di gestire a proprio piacimento l'orario di sveglia. Un ringraziamento particolare va alla Signora Nadia per la disponibilità e il supporto forniti prima dell'arrivo e per l'ottima accoglienza al momento del check-in. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente la prossima volta che visiteremo Firenze!

Ho soggiornato per una settimana in questo affittacamere col mio ragazzo nella settimana di Ferragosto. In generale il nostro giudizio è molto positivo! Penso che molto probabilmente tornerei qui se visitassi Firenze di nuovo. Alcuni difetti sono gli asciugamani del viso troppo sottili che rimangono subito bagnati appena li si usa; l'assenza di asciugamani da bidet; il materasso che riscalda molto; il Wi-Fi talvolta non funzionante, forse perché in quei momenti utilizzato da troppa gente. Di molto positivo il rapporto qualità prezzo; la pulizia; l'aria condizionata; la posizione perfetta, vicinissimo alla stazione e a due passi dal centro; la possibilità di fare deposito bagagli; la colazione, seppur preconfezionata, presente in camera e abbondante; la presenza del frigo sia in camera sia nell'area comune; il discreto numero di prese elettriche; il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Great location and great value. It's a large apartment with multiple rooms all with it's own bathroom and balcony. The room is large and bathroom is modern. It's right by the train station and the central market. The host does not live in the place but work right across the street and can be contacted 24 hr using the phone provided at the front desk. She is very friendly and a great host. The breakfast is replenished daily in the room. They are mostly on the sweet side but I found it's typical in Italy. Water, milk, and juice are also provided. Definitely a place I would come and stay again.

B&B ottimo e a buon prezzo, a 2 passi dalla stazione e molto vicino alla Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. La camera e il bagno sono dotati di tutti i comfort, la struttura è dotata anche di un cucinino con forno a microonde negli ambienti comuni. Personale gentile e disponibile. Unica piccola pecca la colazione, che manca di prodotti freschi, ma comunque varia e abbondante. Consigliato.

Camera ampia, molto tranquilla e dalla pulizia impeccabile. Vicina a trattorie e locali in cui mangiare, ma anche dotata di un comodissimo angolo cottura a disposizione di quegli ospiti che desiderino consumare semplici pasti in autonomia. Ottima la posizione della struttura, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e da tutti i punti di maggior interesse della città di Firenze. Unico neo: la colazione, già predisposta all'interno della camera con prodotti dolci a lunga conservazione, che manca del tutto di prodotti freschi e potrebbe essere comunque arricchita per esempio con yogurt o frutta secca. Da sottolineare la gentilezza e la simpatia del gestore all'atto dell'accoglienza.

Ottima struttura, camera molto ampia e pulita (noi avevamo una famigliare per 4 persone), posizione comoda alla stazione ed al centro, con tante trattorie e locali vari per poter mangiare con prezzi onesti. Da sottolineare la gentilezza del gestore, la signora Nadia, sempre disponibile a risolvere ogni piccolo problema o a dare preziose informazioni per la visita di Firenze. Sicuramente lo raccomanderò ad amici e parenti che vogliano visitare questa splendida città.
