In the charming countryside that surrounds the center of San Gimignano, the Antica Dimora B&B, a typical stone farmhouse recognized as a historical monument by the Siena Architectural Heritage Board, offers its customers the opportunity to stay in complete relaxation and comfort in rooms/suites/apartments furnished with antique furniture, canopy beds, and precious fabrics.

Each room/suite/apartment is equipped with satellite TV, WiFi, minibar, and a bathroom with a shower.

There is a large living room with a typical Tuscan fireplace and a park available to customers for breakfast picnics or BBQs.

Free reserved parking is available in front of the Antica Dimora.

The Antica Dimora B&B is located just 4 km from the center of San Gimignano in the charming medieval village of San Donato and is an excellent starting point for numerous excursions by car or on foot.

Just a few km away, mostly reachable by highway, it is possible to visit the most famous art cities of Tuscany: Siena (30Km), Florence (45Km), Pisa (70Km), Volterra (25Km), Monteriggioni (20Km).

Moreover, the sea, with the renowned seaside resorts of the Etruscan coast, Punta Ala, Castiglion della Pescaia, Marina di Castagneto Carducci, Follonica, Cecina, Castiglioncello, is only 1 or 2 hours away by car.

Nature lovers, on the other hand, can immerse themselves in the absolute tranquility by walking along the numerous countryside paths, discovering some pond or suggestive panoramic views, of which the owners will surely provide you with accurate indications.

The stand out place in our whole week of exploring Tuscany. Great location, lovely rooms, self check-in - so easy and dedicated off-road parking. Highlights were the views over the vineyard and the breakfast served on the land overlooking the vines and beyond. Fabulous value too. We will be back for a long weekend just here.

Simply in love. This B&B is located in a small medieval village 10 minutes by car from the center of San Gimignano, which is worth a stay for its beauty. The room was beautiful, clean, and very well cared for in detail, but what touched us the most was the availability, friendliness, and above all the sweetness of Clio.

We recommend it to everyone. Charming place with a spectacular view just a stone's throw from San Gimignano and Volterra, in a small village of absolute peace, complemented by cellars where you can taste good wine and good food! Il borgo di San Donato è composto da un incantevole gruppo di case antiche in pietra, una delle quali è occupata dal B&B Antiche Dimore. Il B&B è splendido, le stanze sono una più bella dell'altra e arredate in modo caratteristico. La colazione, sebbene composta di prodotti industriali e confezionati, è molto abbondante e varia, e viene servita attorno ad un grande tavolo dove si mangia assieme agli altri ospiti. Accanto al B&B è possibile assaggiare ed acquistare gli ottimi vini della Fattoria San Donato. San Gimignano dista pochi minuti in auto. Assolutamente consigliatissimo.

Senza dubbio il più bel B&B in cui sia mai stato. Le camere sono bellissime, la vista e mozzafiato e la posizione. Siamo in piazza! Non posso che consigliarlo, non ha niente da invidiare ad un hotel di lusso anche se è una piccolissima struttura.
