The B&B Palazzo al Torrione and Palazzo al Torrione 2 are located in a historic building along the city walls of San Gimignano, in the province of Siena, in Tuscany, right in the heart of the historic center.

The building, completely renovated while preserving its original architectural structure, offers on one side a breathtaking view of the city, almost touching its towers. On the other side, the gaze gets lost in the gentle hilly landscape that nature has shaped around San Gimignano.

The Bed & Breakfast Palazzo al Torrione and Palazzo al Torrione 2 are housed in a noble palace, designed centuries ago as a residence, and offer relaxing environments and refined furnishings.

The Bed & Breakfasts in San Gimignano are managed by Poli Vanna and Francesco Indiani, the latter being a descendant of a family of hoteliers, whose grandfather was the owner of the "La Cisterna" Hotel located in the homonymous square in the center of San Gimignano. While in the past, the hotel business was an innate virtue combined with a spirit of hospitality, Francesco has attended the best Italian schools, receiving important diplomas and certificates, and now professionally and expertly manages the establishment, combining hospitality, seriousness, and competence to make your stay special.

Property worthy of the 4 stars, located in the central position of San Gimignano, in a carefully restored ancient building. Small but comfortable room. Adequate services but not really suitable for those with mobility problems because it lacks an elevator (normal in these villages), even if you only have to walk up one floor. Very kind and helpful owner (among other things, the B&B is affiliated with nearby restaurants, where you can dine well, offering a 15% discount and with the closest parking at 200m). Varied breakfast with sweet and savory products. We were accommodated in the 'depandance', which is accessed from the adjacent door, so we had to go out and come back for breakfast (but it's not a problem). Furnishings, floors, and walls in harmony with the history of the village and the palace.

Palazzo Al Torrione is a bed and breakfast in the center of San Gimignano. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and just spacious enough, the bathrooms are large and functional. We had a room with a terrace that is worth the trip. The person who welcomed us was very kind and ready to answer our questions. I recommend it to those who want to stay right in the town.

Very pleasant structure in an ancient palace in the heart of the historic center. Staff available, attentive, and kind. Highly recommended. Access to the rooms via stairs. Lovely terrace.

The accommodation is as seen in the photos, it is located in the city center, has all the comforts and is very well furnished and decorated, I felt very good in this place, moreover the manager was very kind, he indicated places to visit in the city, he gave me precise answers to my questions and helped me solve some problems I had with another reservation, he was always attentive to me, I would definitely return to this place.

Great place to stay right in the center. The rooms are very clean and I can only thank the kindness of the managers who allowed us to postpone the check-out a little due to an important video call from my boyfriend. Highly recommended.

Well-maintained palace strategically located within the walls but on a street parallel to the main road, thus a bit quieter. The room we had, number 7, was large and very clean. We did not have breakfast but in some way we were aware of it. In the morning at 7.30, tables and chairs start moving and in the room, being downstairs, everything can be heard. The mattress was incredibly bouncy, so every time one moves, the other wakes up. You can also hear everything that happens in the corridor, but this often happens in various hotels. People coming in and out. The world is beautiful because it is varied and unfortunately, polite people are becoming fewer. Close the door gently and stay quiet until you go out on the street or downstairs. What is normal for me may not be for many. Nice B&B but I recommend using earplugs. I would change the mattress.

Ho soggiornato 2 notti con la mia famiglia, la struttura è veramente veramente bella, arredamento, tinteggiatura, soffitti, tutto; molto gentile la proprietaria. In fase di prenotazione avevo deciso di non comprendere la colazione, seppur sarebbe stato possibile, perché ritengo che 7,00 euro a persona siano troppi.

Il Bed and Breakfast Al Torrione si trova in pieno centro San Gimignano, vicino a tutti i monumenti di interesse e allo stesso tempo a pochi passi dal parcheggio principale. Le camere sono ampie, pulite e ben curate. La proprietaria è una persona amorevole, gentilissima e disponibile. La colazione, sia dolce che salata, è eccellente. Assolutamente da consigliare.

Struttura in posizione centralissima, personale gentile ed affabile. Suggerisco al gestore di inviare agli ospiti una piantina prima dell’arrivo, in considerazione dell’ubicazione in zona pedonale. Ho riscontrato inoltre che, quando si contatta il nostro fisso o il cellulare, rispondono sempre persone diverse e all’ospite viene trasmessa una sensazione di scarso coordinamento.

Struttura nel cuore di San Giminiano, su traversa di via centrale che attraversa il borgo da porta San Matteo a Porta San Giovanni. Comodissimo. Edificio d'epoca molto bello, ben arredato e pulitissimo. Non ho usufruito della colazione perché ci sono stati chiesti 7 euro oltre il costo del pernottamento e ci sembrava troppo. Gestore abbastanza disponibile, anche se ci ha fatto aspettare un po' per il check-in, nonostante fossimo in orario.
