Description
Exclusive locations in the streets of the hamlet, within prestigious buildings and unforgettably charming apartments that combine a classic décor, with antique furniture, stone walls, wooden ceilings, and Tuscan terracotta floors, with all the modern comforts to satisfy the guests’ every need.
In front of the fireplace after a delicious dinner or on the terrace enjoying a glass of Vernaccia, you can admire the splendid towers, the Piazza della Cisterna, and the beautiful panorama of the Tuscan countryside.
Amongst the buildings of the historical centre is the Palazzo Tortoli, built at the beginning of the fourteenth century, a time when San Gimignano was in its heyday. In the palace, difficult to describe in words, with its Gothic façade enriched by two pairs of particularly fine mullioned windows, you can relive the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
All B&B Ponte a Nappo amenities available in the countryside (WI-FI, swimming-pool, garden, parking, picnic area, children’s playground, etc.) are also at the complete disposal of guests staying at our historical center facilities, and they are free of charge.

Breakfast
Hey from Carla
At the end of 1979, when San Gimignano wasn’t again destination of tourists from all the world, I began to rent the apartment “Santa Fina”, “the first”, of whom I am very fond because it accompanied me during the years and for its wonderful view from the big terrace.
Little by little I began to rent other apartments and bedrooms scattered along the historical centre of the city. In 2000 I opened with my son Francesco “Palazzo Tortoli”, a palace of the fourteen century in the wonderful Cisterna Square, a luxury palace of big architectonic importance, marked in all the most important international guides.
At the end, in 2002 we opened “Podere Ponte a Nappo”, a beautiful farmhouse with swimming pool recently restored and completely plunged in the green. From here we can enjoy the wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside and of the city of San Gimignano, which is in front of the farmhouse at only 900 m and easily reachable by feet in 10 minutes.
I give hospitality every year with my sons Francesco and Andrea to tourists from all the world, with whom we entertain in long conversations, seated in the garden in front of the towers of San Gimignano, tasting a good glass of wine. The most important thing which give us satisfaction are the guess, who every year come back and recommend our apartments to friends and relatives.
Hoping to leave a good memory of us and of your holiday in San Gimignano, I will be happy with my sons Francesco and Andrea to give you hospitality.
I wait you!
Carla.

What guests say
Reviews highlight the property's excellent central location, often in a charming historic building with great panoramic views of the town or countryside. Rooms are generally clean, spacious, and well-furnished, though some guests mention dim lighting and basic bathrooms. Breakfast is described as generous and tasty, with the host or staff often praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, despite a few notes about communication or check-in procedures. The pool and access to a farm are appreciated extras. Overall, the value for money is considered good, making this a recommended choice for those wanting to enjoy the historic center and beautiful scenery.
