Description

Our family-run farmhouse is located in the open countryside, in a quiet and relaxing area.

Agriturismo Metina Offers a spectacular view of the Valdichiana and the countryside full of vineyards and olive groves.

Suitable for all those who are looking for peace and tranquility in close contact with nature away from the noise, while remaining at short distance from the shops and towns.

We only have 5 apartments, equipped with 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room and kitchen or kitchenette.

A large pool with a view, free wifi, a large fenced garden with a playground for children, and a terrace overlooking the hills with a fantastic barbecue.

In the room, our guests will find air conditioning, a hairdryer, a TV, and a fireplace (this one with an extra fee)
We will be happy to welcome your pets with a small extra fee: Lots of attention, space, and care for them.

Motorcyclists will find a warm and friendly welcome, along with ideal itineraries to ride between the beautiful hills of Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia.

Pool hights is between 90 and 140 cm and has an ideal access ramp also for children of all ages
For those who want to be pampered: the spas of Montepulciano, and Chianciano can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

The house has been meticulously cared for in every corner, giving the sincere impression of a well-maintained home. The cleanliness is great, the bedding is soft and comfortable. The kitchen tools in the house are not lacking, and everything needed during the stay was available. There is also a fairly large supermarket a short drive away, and a small restaurant selling handmade pasta. The difference between what can be done on foot and what cannot is clear, so the location may not be to everyone's liking, but for those seeking a quiet holiday in a peaceful place, it will definitely be satisfying. We had such a wonderful holiday that it was heartbreaking to return home, and we definitely want to go back.

The lady who welcomed us, Monica, was very courteous and recommended bars and pastry shops for breakfast, restaurants to eat at, and places to visit. She also made sure the apartment was warm. At the time of farewell, she made a point to say goodbye to us even though it was early. The house enjoys a tranquility and a spectacular view. We spent little time in the apartment as we were always out exploring, however we found the bed comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets, and the house clean. The apartment is not modern or designer, but it is very simple and essential. The parking in front is very convenient. In my opinion, the cost per night is slightly high for the apartment offered. However, overall we had a good stay.

We stayed 3 nights at the Metina farm stay, and we had a really good time. The lady is kind and helpful and the room is very cozy, equipped with all the comforts, and a truly efficient and functional autonomous heating system! The structure has an enviable panorama, it is well organized, the pool is very well maintained and the outdoor spaces are very well organized, with a dog play area. The apartment is very functional and very essential. The welcome from the managers is extremely positive, also in relation to the hospitality of multiple dogs per apartment with a negligible additional cost. If I really have to find some very surmountable flaws, I would say that the televisions (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) are very small, but who watches TV when traveling? The decor is very spartan, the apartment, although equipped with cutlery, sheets, towels, etc., does not provide for the replacement of toilet paper or dishwashing products. If they had provided breakfast service, it would have been great.

Located on a hill overlooking the ancient village of Montepulciano and the surrounding hills, near olive groves and vineyards, the farmhouse is ideal for a holiday with 4 paws; the kindness of the managers is priceless, the atmosphere is familiar and welcoming. The apartments are the right size, with everything you need for a holiday; for those with dogs, the possibility of moving around freely (obviously with common sense regarding the management of their animal) and a specific area for exercise. The location is excellent for visiting the numerous cultural and natural wonders nearby. Spacious pool with a view of the hills: each apartment has its own sun loungers and umbrellas. In such tense years, truly a corner of relaxation. Definitely worth doing again!

Excellent structure in a paradise, surrounded by cypresses, farmhouses, and a sublime atmosphere. Fantastic and attentive managers and our dogs have socialized and much attention to their needs. Highly recommend!

I can recommend this agriturismo 100%. Very clean apartment with everything you need, good bed with wonderful view. The whole property is situated on a hill with wonderful views on both sides. A nice 15m pool, very clean. It's located close to Montepulciano and is perfect for trips to Val d'Orcia. But mostly you have two wonderful hosts, friendly, helpful and I have been invited twice to a wonderful and delicious dinner.

We stayed at this wonderful farmhouse where everything was above our expectations. A structure surrounded by vineyards and olive groves where you can take relaxing walks with the dog, excellent cleanliness of the house, a welcoming by Monica upon arrival in finding fresh water for us and snacks for the dog. What else to say? The recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to eat at were highly appreciated, and a fantastic pool where to relax in the middle of nature. Thank you.

It's been a few years since we last visited this establishment. Unique place, spectacular view, stunning pool, immersed in nature. Returning to Metina is like having a beautiful dream. Spectacular stay at Metina Farmhouse, two adults, two children, and a dog. Wonderful landscape. Monica and Alberto are two very special people, always ready to welcome every request. At the end of June, I spent 5 days of peace and relaxation with my husband and son in this oasis of tranquility. The kindness and care of the managers Monica and Alberto who were always attentive to our every need. The convenience of spending our days by the pool in front of a fabulous panorama, among vineyards, hills, and fields of lavender. The proximity to many villages to visit, the lake, the thermal baths... in short, highly recommended! We hope to be able to return soon to spend other wonderful days at Metina.

Starting from the end: we had a great time, and we are really satisfied with both the Agriturismo, the apartment where we stayed, and with Monica and Alberto, very kind and courteous people, available. \nMonica gave us excellent advice on visits and where to dine well without excessive costs, in our experience as travelers and tourists we know well how availability and courtesy are important for a satisfying stay and vacation, and here they do not lack. \nThe location of the Agriturismo is fantastic, immersed in the countryside with splendid vineyards, but also close to the road, from which you can easily reach all the main points of interest and all the beautiful towns of Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico, Bagno Vignone, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, to name a few.\nThe apartments are well furnished and comfortable, clean, spacious, and bright, all around there is green, another world, made of nature, silence, harmony. We booked here to get away from the city chaos and enjoy a bit of a view of the Tuscan hills. We were not disappointed at all. Mrs. Monica was very kind and helpful. The little house was very warm and very clean, it had everything we needed. The view from the terrace was stunning, but even from our window not bad at all. If we come back to those areas, we know where to stay!

Cozy structure in a panoramic position among olive groves and vineyards. Guaranteed tranquility. The farm welcomes our dogs in a suitable environment for them. Honest and sincere farmhouse with few frills, it reaches the heart thanks to the welcome and kindness of Monica and Alberto. The surrounding environment is splendid, with a wonderful view of the Val di Chiana from which a cool evening breeze rises, helping to relax and rest. The pool is excellent, well equipped and daily checked and cleaned. Very clean and practical apartment, nothing is missing. Personally verified the anti-Covid sanitization with ozone. Dogs are very welcome and find a favorable environment with the possibility of great walks in the midst of the wonderful Tuscan countryside.

We stayed in the Menta apartment for 2 nights, with our large dog, who was welcomed with a very appreciated snack! The apartment is spacious and comfortable, even though we didn't spend much time there. I definitely recommend it to a family or a couple with dogs because there is a play area available (where we left our dog while we were at the pool) and all the fields around the farm for running freely.

Cozy, suitable for families and couples. Inconvenient the dirt road and the plants on the sides that can damage the car body. I haven't tried the pool yet, but from the outside, it looks really beautiful. The owner, Mrs. Monica, is very helpful and kind. Worth trying for more than two days.

Da un lato abbiamo il vantaggio di trovarci in mezzo al verde, dall'altra lo svantaggio che non tutti i proprietari dei terreni ai lati della strada la mantengono pulita.. Spero il tempo sia migliore la prossima volta e che possiate approfittare anche della piscina. Monica.

Finally after the lockdown, my family and I (including the dog) managed to take a few days of vacation at Metina Apartments. We had a wonderful stay. Owners Monica and Alberto are perfect hosts, very helpful and very friendly; we felt at home. A lot of things to do and see in the area. The apartment is perfect, nothing is missing, I would recommend it to anyone! It's truly a magnificent place, can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Metina Apartments with Monica and Alberto for a few days of relaxation. They are delightful and unobtrusive people who treat guests like part of their family. They can recommend the most incredible places to visit, those in Tuscany that are not so accessible to tourists, even though, to be honest, the desire to leave their farmhouse is really minimal. Inside the structure you will find everything you need for peace. All guests have access to a barbecue area where they can spend evenings together, the pool surrounded by greenery, among olive trees and vineyards, will make you forget the chaotic days. For those traveling with their own dog, there is a completely dedicated area for them, where Monica will take care of your furry friend if you want to spend a romantic evening with your other half. Our apartment was very comfortable, we only worried about relaxing! Thanks to Monica and Alberto for this break from the world, we'll see you again soon!

Relaxing for the body and mind! We were guests at Metina Apartments during the week of August with our little dog. I have always heard about those places where you feel at home, and finally I can also say that I have found that place! The little apartments are well-kept and complete with everything, great even for our dog who enjoyed the fantastic walks. The landscape that can be admired from the different areas is stunning. Staying here was truly nice, welcoming, and relaxing. Monica and Alberto are two amazing people to say the least. We will definitely come back, even just for a weekend.

The kindness of the owners and managers we were able to appreciate from the booking via email and confirm once we arrived on site. The farmhouse is really nice, well-kept and located a short distance from tourist attractions.
