If you plan to spend a pleasant holiday in Tuscany, perhaps in Montepulciano, "Pearl of 500", a beautiful town in the hills, rich in art, culture, wine and food, "Bellavista" could be the suitable accommodation. The rooms are located in an ancient building located just steps from "Piazza Grande", the main square with the Cathedral, the Town Hall and historic buildings. Close by are also a lovely theater, a Museum and restaurants. You have here the chance to relive the thrills of vanished eras, relaxing walks and enjoy the cultural liveliness of the place.

"Bellavista" are family. It's about ten double rooms of different sizes for extra beds on request, antique-style furniture and equipped with private bathroom, hairdryer, tv and fridge. Warm and friendly atmosphere will surprise you.

Named after the breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside and the Lakes of Montepulciano, Chiusi and Cortona. The room # 6 has a beautiful panoramic balcony from which you can enjoy a spectacular view that is unique in the world. You have here the possibility to sunbathe on the terrace, to the relief of a fresh breeze. Within walking distance there is a park which guests can use freely. This type of accommodation, recommended by prestigious guides such as Du Routard, Rick Steves, Frommer's, Lonely Planet, lets Go it is available all year round. It's advisable to book ahead.

The ancient 16th-century palace that houses the rooms is located in a strategic point of the historic centre, a few steps from the main square and higher, Piazza Grande, where you can visit the Cathedral, the most imposing and ancient palaces and the municipality (in climb the tower and enjoy 360° views of the surrounding valleys). Passed Piazza Grande, just a few metres further along is the fortress, with one of the many doors that surround Montepulciano. The streets around the rooms Bellavista that penetrate into the country are dotted with restaurants, taverns and bars overlooking Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana, view I share with our rooms. Always in the old town you will encounter various wineries, where the famous Nobile di Montepulciano, and where you can do wine tastings and tours. The Temple of San Biagio, a walk from Bellavista Rooms, is another of the most deserving of Montepulciano. From Bellavista Rooms you can walk around and visit from inside the medieval town, or, just a few kilometres from Montepulciano, can be reached by bus services other famous medieval and Renaissance towns like Pienza, San Quirico, Montalcino, Montefollonico, Monticchiello, Montepulciano, Cortona and many more.

Central location, very nice and clean structure. Friendly staff, upon our late arrival they provided clear and simple instructions to access the room independently and also to easily find parking. Even in the morning, they allowed us to leave our luggage for the entire duration of our visit to the village.

The managers were very kind and welcoming. There was only one room left and it had no windows, which the lady kindly informed us about, but it was a clean room with all the comforts even if it had no view.

Excellent structure, phenomenal position (next to the main square), beautiful rooms and abundant breakfast in the room. The only suggestion to give: equip the bathrooms with a heater because during the changing seasons, the historic rooms can be a bit cold.

Fantastic location, walkable to everything in Montepulciano. This makes it a little tricky to get to - but worth it once you're there. It's a cool old building with charming furniture and beautiful views - we loved it! The only suggestions we have for improvements are primarily with the bed - the mattress in our room was quite hard, and it made it very difficult to sleep for us, unfortunately. Also, we appreciated the effort to provide gluten free breakfast options (thank you!) but would have loved some fruit or hard boiled eggs, as we are used to a more substantial meal in the morning (though, the baked goods were very good!). But this was something we experienced at other B&Bs so perhaps it's just a cultural thing! Overall, we thought the owners were very nice and enjoyed our stay.

Gabriella and her family are wonderful hosts. Friendly and accommodating.\n\nThe views from our rooms was breathtaking. Great location, near everything, even a laundromat across the road.\n\nThere are plenty of stairs, and the hosts are not on site 24/7 - but they are very responsive and can come in 10 minutes if you need them. Very central location just steps away from the main square. Nevertheless, there is a reserved parking space for the guests of the Bellavista Rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. The staff is very helpful and kind. Great value for money.. too bad it doesn't include breakfast!
