Description
Agriturismo Casteddu is located in a centuries-old oak and oak forest in Padru and is one of the oldest rural houses in this area. It is 15 minutes from San Teodoro and from the sea and 20 from Olbia.
The rooms for our guestsare obtained from the pre-existing premises of the structures of the Casteddu stazzo, and so the warehouses have also been converted into refreshment and guest rooms. The renovations are carried out respecting the traditional construction typology.

At the agriturismo Casteddu, there is no fixed menu, but we can say that around some dishes that are now part of the history of typical Sardinian cuisine, we have included a considerable variety of dishes that refer to the seasons and their products.
Indeed, along with the cured meats, Sardinian gnocchetti, mint ricotta ravioli, Gallurese soup, culurgiones, and the inevitable roasted suckling pig that have a fixed place in our menu, you can also enjoy wild boar with olives or sweet and sour, stewed chicken livers.
Furthermore, breaded and fried seasonal vegetables, grilled vegetables, fresh fava beans with pancetta and mint, artichokes, wild asparagus, with which excellent omelettes and creams can be made to serve with stuffed pastas, cow and sheep cheeses, fresh and salted ricotta.
And then there are the mushrooms from our forest that enter our menu in autumn, to the delight of many food enthusiasts who come to Casteddu to taste oyster or porcini mushroom salads, fried porcini mushrooms, grilled porcini mushrooms, sautéed porcini mushrooms, polenta with sausages and mushrooms, fresh tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, in short, mushrooms in every way.
To finish the meal, of course, the Seada cannot be missing, an ancient dessert that combines the sweetness of honey and the saltiness of fresh cheese held together in a pasta dumpling. All accompanied by good red wine from Sardinia.

I was born in 1958 in the ancient stazzo of Casteddu that dates back to the early 800 and I have always loved and worked in this beautiful place.
After renovating the old stables, in 1986 I opened the farm that boasts of being the first in this area.
Now, with my family and my collaborators, we try to give the best attention to our guests, making them feel at home.

Excellent structure immersed in the greenery, for those seeking relaxation and tranquility it is the maximum, breakfast is very good, all fresh products, the only flaw the dessert, always the same although very good. The staff is kind and always available and attentive to satisfying the customers' needs. The catering is excellent and plentiful.
