The accommodation consists of a huge old apartment, where each of the rooms has been converted into a room with en suite bathroom. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the bathrooms modern and well equipped. Each room has air conditioning, which we could really use at 34 degrees. We felt very comfortable! The minor deductions are because the water in our bathroom did not drain properly, which was very annoying, and because the room door could not be locked properly - only after turning the key twice was the lock really closed, which we noticed only shortly before departure. The location of the apartment in the city, right on the Grand Canal and about 300 meters from the port, is a dream. You can reach everything on foot and yet it wasn't too noisy at night and we could simply close the windows thanks to the air conditioning. Directly below the apartment is the famous Café Stella Polare - we booked without breakfast because we simply went downstairs to have it. Overall highly recommended!

The location is excellent, it's clean, spacious for 2 people, and overall an excellent value. \n\nHowever, there are some things that could be improved. The breakfast choices were modest, so we opted to eat breakfast either outside or in the unit. The kitchen could be better equipped. For instance, there was no kettle for hot water, and only 2 small cups were available. \n\nFor security purposes, there should be a combination to punch in order to enter the building.

Good morning, I stayed for one night at Ponterosso Suite and I had a great time, especially I found Cristina, a very kind person, willing to do everything to meet my needs in terms of schedules, etc. Very central location, clean interiors and in great condition.

The room is located in a historic building in Trieste. The location is really great, central to the historic center. Of course, you have to leave the car in a nearby covered parking lot for a fee, a highly recommended solution, and walk around the city. We were 4 people in the accommodation. There is also a kitchenette in the accommodation that we did not use. The owner is really friendly and helpful. We confirm that we found a very good room to visit Trieste.

A few minutes walk from the Grand Canal and 10 minutes from the bus/train station in Trieste. Furnished very well, very comfortable bathroom with everything needed for washing. There were also pods to make coffee. Easy and fast communication with the host. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent Bed and Breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was in good order and very clean as well. It was located in a very good position in Trieste, within walking distance of the train and bus stations as well as all major sites. I would thoroughly recommend it. My only complaint was that there was quite a lot of noise from the cleaner of the language school above very early in the morning even on the Sunday.

Incredible location at the end of the Grand Canal, and next to the Serbian Catholic Cathedral, within a few minutes' walk of the main plaza, old town, and other sites. Nice room in an old palace with 12-foot high ceilings. Very nice breakfast served. Only complaint is the bathroom was a little small.

The B&B is located in a historic building from the '700s, completely renovated. The rooms are spacious and quiet, also equipped with a small fridge. The location is very central, on the Grand Canal, a few steps from Piazza Unità of Italy, and about ten minutes walk from the Station. Very convenient to get everywhere. The communication with the owner, very helpful, has always been problem-free and the information very clear. Absolutely recommended.

The bed and breakfast is located in a splendid building, large rooms well furnished and with all the comforts, then it is in a beautiful area with everything convenient. The manager is a very helpful and kind person. Breakfast was provided, but we preferred to have it in one of the typical cafes in Trieste. I absolutely recommend it.

Historic building with an excellent location on the Grand Canal. Beautiful and clean rooms, with new services and all comforts. The people at the reception are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are offices on the upper floor. At 6:30, the cleaning staff arrives, turns on the vacuum cleaner, the TV at high volume, and no more sleep.

Great location, clean, well-furnished. Perhaps the only flaws are the windowless bathroom and the small kitchen with a table for 2 (we were 4) and a bit dark as it has a window facing the inner courtyard. We did not have breakfast.

The structure is in a very central location, in a pedestrian area, overlooking the church of Sant'Antonio, on the first floor of a historic building. The check-in was very easy, the owner left the keys on the reception desk and the great autonomy in entering and leaving the structure is really the best. Clean room, brand new bathroom. The breakfast has everything you need, sweet and savory. Stylish decor and relaxing colors. It almost feels like being alone in the structure, quiet and discreet, superb. I will definitely come back.

I really liked the room. Beautiful shower and comfortable bed. The location was great and the value for money was excellent. The staff is really very kind. All 10 rating (although I didn't try the breakfast, but there is a bar right below). If I have to make a note, the adjoining room is separated by a door. Fortunately, there was no one because I didn't hear any noise. The same cannot be said for the nearby bars (Saturday night music at full volume), but unfortunately that does not depend on the structure and by closing the two windows the noise is greatly reduced. I absolutely recommend it.

In the heart of Borgo Teresiano, beautiful. Structure in a splendid historical building. Parquet on the floor. Very comfortable bed. Large shower. We missed the view, which I imagine was very beautiful, due to the scaffolding in front of the window (room 5). Excellent double windows that insulate very well. The room was a bit dark (always due to the scaffolding?), maybe a little more light would do it more justice because it really deserves it. We didn't have breakfast at the property to enjoy Triestine coffees but I saw croissants and coffee pods in the hall.

Ideal location to visit the beautiful Trieste, in the center a stone's throw from everything; we were greeted by Cristina with extreme courtesy and availability; well-furnished and air-conditioned rooms, abundant and varied breakfast; the location in the ZTL requires the small sacrifice of having to use a paid parking lot, however reachable on foot in a few minutes. We will return and definitely recommend it for a short stay in Trieste.

Central location in a beautiful building with elevator. Cristina is very kind and helpful. The room is clean, very spacious, and warm. Comfortable mattress and small bathroom with everything you need. Beautiful view of the canal and during the Christmas period of the market stalls. Possibility of breakfast on site or at the bar below.

Very pleasant! We were with family with 3 children. We appreciated the welcome from Cristina and the very good breakfast. The central location is ideal. The Barcolana is festive, there was some noise in the street in the evening, otherwise the neighborhood is quiet. We recommend this B&B.

Very helpful, kind and very nice managers, really good people. The property is very central, just under a year old, located on the noble floor of a very central building on the Grand Canal, just beyond the Serbian Orthodox Church (very beautiful). There are a total of 7 rooms including a suite (which we were able to visit and is really beautiful). We used room 2 which overlooks the Grand Canal and is spacious and well-kept. The bed is large and comfortable, with equally comfortable pillows. Large and well-kept bathroom in the room. Throughout the floor there is an ancient parquet floor that, rightly, makes that little noise one expects from an old wood, but it's nice like that. Breakfast is served from eight in the morning but it can be requested earlier. There is a variety of sweet and savory, of good quality. Overall, Ponterosso Suite is a very beautiful solution, very comfortable and with a truly advantageous quality-price ratio. Nice and with very professional managers, I feel like highly recommending it to those who want to stay there for both vacation and work. We would gladly return.

Great property in a historic building in the heart of the city center (pedestrian area). Comfortable rooms, freshly renovated and tastefully furnished with high quality. Very soft bed, must like this type. Extremely friendly managers ready to meet every need. Breakfast ok, no 24h reception, but an "emergency" number always available. I will definitely come back.
