« La dimora di Alfonso” is a Bed and Breakfast very nice in Fiumicello of Maratea, one of most beautiful hamlet of Mararea, near a wonderful stretch of coast, with large and little beaches, rocks, inlets, caves and a luxuriant vegetation and lots of mountains. Our B&B, near the beautiful Fiumicello’s square, is the ideal place to pass an agreeable holiday. Every room is very cured and nicely furnished and independent, to offer the maximum of comfort and an unforgettable holiday. You can find bathroom, shower, phone, internet, TV, frig-bar, air conditioned, safe and kindness service. There are garden and parking. You can walk to the beach, with stairs, or go there by car. You can found lots of market and go easily (with public transport too) to the famous touristic harbour, the old city, with her beautiful churchs, little squares and alleys where there are lots of markets that sell handicraft’s and gastronomist’s products. And, on the head of the mountain ther’s the great statue of the Redeemer. From june until September you can take part in cultural events, village festivals and party organized by all the hamlets of Maratea. You can found lots of market and go easily (with public transport too) to the famous touristic harbour, the old city, with her beautiful churchs, little squares and alleys where there are lots of markets that sell handicraft’s and gastronomist’s products. And, on the head of the mountain ther’s the great statue of the Redeemer. From june until September you can take part in cultural events, village festivals and party organized by all the hamlets of Maratea.

Mr. Alfonso Montesano is a tourism expert: he has obtained a diploma as a business expert and has attended numerous courses as a tour operator and has been practicing this activity since the 80s.

A very helpful person who pays attention to every particular need of the guest, anyone who chooses to spend their holidays in his establishment is assured an extremely pleasant stay, thanks above all to the excellent directions that he is able to provide regarding the places to have lunch and dinner, as well as the opportunities to visit the territory both on land and from the beautiful and varied Marateota coastline.

Highly recommended for a holiday in Maratea, a stone's throw from the sea, the main beaches, the city center, and the Statue of the Redeemer overlooking Maratea from Monte S. Biagio.

We stayed at the property at the beginning of August. Excellent welcome and hospitality from Agnese and Alfonso, large room (Dafne) with a spacious patio, impeccable cleanliness, peace and quiet. Great location (Fiumicello) to reach all the Lidl, close to shops and restaurants. A perfect stay.

We had a great time! You can reach both the nearby beach of Fiumicello and the port of Maratea on foot. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The managers are very helpful and very kind!

Pleasant stay, the owners showed kindness and courtesy. Only one suggestion regarding breakfast, to vary the products offered. The only flaw is the B&B's location far from the beach, reachable in 10 minutes on foot.

Hello everyone! We spent our holidays in 2014 (12/21 August) in Maratea, precisely at La Dimora di Alfonso, a charming and welcoming B&B! The owners (Alfonso and Agnese Montesano) are truly exceptional people. From our arrival, they made us feel immediately at home! We received a 'family' welcome! Their sincere courtesy, unlimited availability, and constant kindness are included in the price, even if not mentioned. As for the structure, nothing to complain about: beautiful, clean, functional, and quiet. Excellent location, a few minutes (by car or on foot) from enchanting beaches or coves. Thanks to the suggestions of Alfonso and Agnese (regarding beaches and restaurants), we had eight fabulous days! Oh, I forgot, upon my wife's explicit request, I emphasize the excellent and abundant breakfast embellished with typical local pastries. Congratulations to the Montesano family! Beautiful, clean, functional and quiet structure. A few minutes (by car or on foot) from enchanting beaches or coves (wonderful sea). Super managers. Courteous, helpful, always ready to meet the needs of customers and to give "wise" advice on what to visit or where to go for dinner. In a few words, an excellent stay is guaranteed. P.S.: If only there were also some fresh fruit at breakfast, it would be a paradise. Thank you for everything, the Montesano couple.
