The B&B "62 Marinai" is a splendid palace of the '700 located in a strategic position in the heart of the historical center of Bari, between the main entrance of the port and access to the Basilica of St. Nicholas.
From the structure you can start discovering the Romanesque architecture of the Basilica of San Nicola and the Cathedral of San Sabino and the Norman Castle and the Wall, giants that make Bari old breathtaking.
STRUCTURE
Recently renovated, the property has three bedrooms, one on each floor, with private bathroom, heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, hairdryer and digital TV.
The rooms are furnished and decorated in a sober, contemporary style and are named after three of the 62 sailors (Maraldus, Nauclerius and Topatius) who participated in the famous translation of the relics of the patron saint.
Every choice, attention to detail, has been done to characterize the best feature beauty of historic homes and to make the stay of our guests an enjoyable experience.

The location is absolutely perfect, in the heart of old Bari. The street is very noisy even late at night and early in the morning. But that's normal given the location. The shower does not provide hot water. Breakfast at the bar is a good idea to taste typical products and to be in contact with the locals. Good address, to recommend.

Damp room, very noisy, without direct ventilation possibility. No flexible shower, which forces you to wet your hair with each shower. Breakfast has to be taken in a café 200 m away.

We stayed at this B&B for two nights, on the ground floor. The location is great, right in the heart of Old Bari and close to all the most important places to visit. To park the car, we chose the covered parking Saba port, among the places suggested by the owner. Excellent choice. Just book online and it is a flat walk of about a kilometer from the B&B. The room is nice and clean, the bathroom is quite comfortable, and there is a kettle available. Unfortunately, all the noises from the street can be heard and the fridge is rather noisy, but with a couple of earplugs, you can sleep very well, the bed is large and comfortable. The breakfast is decent, but could be improved.

Alessandro was a terrific host. Always available for questions or help. Good hot water (like that hot shower). Perfect location in the old part of the city. Quiet. Breakfast was at Alessandro's bar cafe nearby. A cheery place to start the day.
