Description
Formerly a villa built on a green expanse in the early 70’s by Claudio and Anna, successively expanded and renovated, presently the building is designed to welcome our guests. The distinguishing architectonic feature, the turret, hosts the staircase access and the lift. The panoramic terrace, the cafeteria facility and reading room open up beyond the reception, facing west; the library and studio lay in the quiet of the north-east side. The garden, articulated on different levels, has rocky paths, steps and ramps winding through fountains, terraces and small flowered corners, with numerous tree and floral species typical of Aosta Valley. The reading and sun-bathing areas offer the ideal space for relax; children are welcome to play in the green area with swings and slides. A large parking space and a garage are available

Area
The Aosta Valley boasts a 360-degree natural and cultural offering.
Surrounded by the highest mountains in Europe, including 5 four-thousanders, Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Gran Paradiso, and Monte Rosa, and in particular the Grand Combin which dominates the panoramic view to the south, it is a place of contemplation and meditation.
The verticality supports the vocation for sports: mountaineering, climbing, trekking, skiing, rafting, canyoning, downhill.
In the Aosta Valley, the first Italian national park, Gran Paradiso, was born. Almost a third of the territory is protected to preserve its biodiversity. Although small in size, the region preserves traces of the passage of civilizations: prehistoric megalithic monuments, remains of Roman civilization (the triumphal arch, the pretorian gates, the Aosta theater), over 100 medieval castles, towers, and fortresses that have been transformed multiple times to become Renaissance residences, Romanesque and Baroque churches.
Dozens of museums illustrate the local heritage and contemporary artistic ferment.
Local craftsmanship and gastronomy, still alive traditions (the millennial Foire de Saint-Ours, the historical Carnival, the Franco-Provençal culture) are attractions of international appeal.
Sports in the immediate vicinity:
- The swimming pool and sauna of Gignod (6 km);
- The Arsanières golf clubs in Aosta and Les Iles in Brissogne;
- The 'Gold diving center' in Aosta;
- The network of trails in the municipality of Gignod;
- The ski resorts of Crevacol (21 km) and Pila (8 km).
For relaxation, we recommend shopping in the center of Aosta, the Saint-Vincent Casino, and the Pré-Saint-Didier thermal baths.
