Le Parfum du Sel is an elegant and cosy Bed & Breakfast made inside the family house. Surrounded by apple trees, it’s located right in the centre of Jovençan – a small village a few kilometres from Aosta.
Our parents have worked hard to build up the contemporary and traditional interiors. The stones and wood, which have always been the basic materials of the ancient Aosta Valley’s houses, the precious ivory and the grey turtledove fabrics, the quietness of the landscape recall a hue of lands and sunset once inside our B&B.
The attention paid to the details and the respect to the original and unique features, typical of the region, make the location smart.

It is a small chic shelter where the brightness and the wonderful antiqued travertine floor melt with the ancient family inherited furniture and the colored walls. That true cosy place will make your breakfast a magic moment where harmony and quality are a unique mixture recalling past memories. Cakes, jams and marmalades, fresh yogurts, season fruits, honey, cheese and sausages, all home made or locally produced. In the breakfast room you will find also a reading corner where you can relax whenever you want with a hot espresso coffee or tea, local scones and music.

Splendidly restored Valdostan chalet with a good level of comfort. Excellent 'sky' suite under the slate roofs. It would have been really great if unfortunately some four-legged 'squatters' and the creaking of the roof beams didn't disturb the tranquility of the suite. This does not affect the other rooms and suites at all. Thanks to Virginia for her warm welcome and excellent advice.

We really enjoyed our stay, precise, punctual, very nice structure and rooms and excellent breakfast also for celiacs. We will come back next year on the occasion of Fosson.

Everything perfect and welcoming. We stayed in the Ciel suite, every detail is taken care of with attention and passion, we had a great time. The breakfast is varied, the kindness of the hostess is superb, the structure has a beautiful view and is very convenient for visiting various places. No defects, I recommend it, one of the most beautiful properties I have visited around the world.

Exceptional! Excellent location, away from traffic noise. A beautiful stone structure with rooms furnished in a rustic yet sophisticated and well-maintained style. Very comfortable bed and a fantastic chromotherapy shower. And what about the whirlpool tub in the garden and the exquisite breakfast? If we then add a very courteous staff, we can only recommend to everyone not to miss this splendid place.

Splendido! 17 gennaio 2019 Eccezionale 10
Siamo rimasti felicemente colpiti dalla gentilezza e disponibilità di Virginia! Abbiamo passato solamente un weekend in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso, ma sicuramente ci torneremo e lo consiglieremo a chiunque voglia andare in Valle d'Aosta. Posto molto caldo ed accogliente, facilmente raggiungibile da Aosta e dall'autostrada, Virginia ci ha accolto in una fredda sera di Gennaio con tanto di tè caldo e dolcetti, dandoci tutte le spiegazioni ed indicazioni su come muoverci/cosa fare nel weekend. Ci ha anche fatto trovare la sauna bella calda, pronta all'uso, così come la vasca idromassaggio esterna, sempre disponibile. La casa in pietra è molto grande, accogliente e suddivisa in varie zone: 2 stanze confort si trovano in una zona, le suite sopra la zona colazione. Noi avevamo la stanza Lune, definita "standard", ma eccezionale: pulitissima, è stato uno dei pochi letti in cui sono riuscita a dormire rilassandomi.
Bagno con doccia e cromoterapia, bollitore in camera con tanto di scelta di the e cioccolatini, servizio in sala colazione sempre a disposizione. Potrei continuare all'infinito, elogiando il B&B, ma quello che posso consigliare realmente è di andarci! La prossima volta proveremo una delle due suite! Grazie Virginia per l'ospitalità!

Abbiamo passato una bellissima mini-vacanza per capodanno con amici.
Luogo molto vicino al centro di Aosta e facile da raggiungere.
B&B incantevole, curato nei minimi dettagli e con molto gusto. Le titolari, molto ospitali e disponibili per qualsiasi necessità/informazioni.

Félicitations à Simone pour ce magnifique B&B en particulier les suites. Accueil parfait, équipements très moderne le tout dans un cadre authentique. Petit déjeuner au top ét copieux.
Arrêt de bus pour le centre d'Aoste a 50 mètres de l'entrée de la propriété (15 min de bus).
