Le Parfum du Sel is an elegant and cosy Bed & Breakfast made inside the family house. Surrounded by apple trees, it’s located right in the centre of Jovençan – a small village a few kilometres from Aosta.
Our parents have worked hard to build up the contemporary and traditional interiors. The stones and wood, which have always been the basic materials of the ancient Aosta Valley’s houses, the precious ivory and the grey turtledove fabrics, the quietness of the landscape recall a hue of lands and sunset once inside our B&B.
The attention paid to the details and the respect to the original and unique features, typical of the region, make the location smart.
Our structure is the perfect choice to the ones who want to get the comfort and the house cosiness in a holiday location in order to enjoy a true exclusive and homely staying. Hospitality and quietness are always the key words of this Bed & Breakfast.

In the breakfast room you will find also a reading corner where you can relax whenever you want with a hot espresso coffee or tea, local scones and music.

Unfortunately, it is not indicated that it is not suitable for people with disabilities. In our specific case, even though my wife is not confined to a wheelchair, she struggles a lot with stairs. We therefore recommend highlighting this aspect better. Apart from that, the structure is really beautiful and welcoming, and Mrs. Virginia is very helpful and attentive (and her sweets are great!).

Splendidly restored Valdostan chalet with a good level of comfort. Excellent 'sky' suite under the slate roofs. It would have been really great if unfortunately some four-legged 'squatters' and the creaking of the roof beams didn't disturb the tranquility of the suite. This does not affect the other rooms and suites at all. Thanks to Virginia for her warm welcome and excellent advice.

Everything perfect and welcoming. We stayed in the Ciel suite, every detail is taken care of with attention and passion, we had a great time. The breakfast is varied, the kindness of the hostess is superb, the structure has a beautiful view and is very convenient for visiting various places. No defects, I recommend it, one of the most beautiful properties I have visited around the world.

Exceptional! Excellent location, away from traffic noise. A beautiful stone structure with rooms furnished in a rustic yet sophisticated and well-maintained style. Very comfortable bed and a fantastic chromotherapy shower. And what about the whirlpool tub in the garden and the exquisite breakfast? If we then add a very courteous staff, we can only recommend to everyone not to miss this splendid place.

Splendid! January 17, 2019. Exceptional 10. We were happily impressed by the kindness and availability of Virginia! We spent just a weekend in this little corner of paradise, but we will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Valle d'Aosta. Very warm and welcoming place, easily reachable from Aosta and the highway, Virginia welcomed us on a cold January evening with hot tea and sweets, giving us all the explanations and directions on how to move/what to do during the weekend. She also made us find the sauna nice and warm, ready to use, as well as the outdoor hot tub, always available. The stone house is very large, welcoming, and divided into various areas: 2 comfortable rooms are in one area, the suites above the breakfast area. We had the Lune room, defined as 'standard', but exceptional: very clean, it was one of the few beds where I managed to sleep and relax. Bathroom with shower and chromotherapy, kettle in the room with a choice of tea and chocolates, breakfast service always available. I could go on forever, praising the B&B, but what I can truly recommend is to go there! Next time we will try one of the two suites! Thank you Virginia for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful mini-holiday for New Year's with friends. Place very close to the center of Aosta and easy to reach. Lovely B&B, cared for in the smallest details and with great taste. The owners, very hospitable and available for any need/information. Abundant and very good breakfast. Excellent cleanliness that was done daily. We will return and I highly recommend it.

Congratulations to Simone for this magnificent B&B, especially the suites. Perfect welcome, very modern facilities all in an authentic setting. Top and hearty breakfast.
