Description

Villa Zane, an old Venetian villa dating back to the XVI century and recently renovated, is located in the northern part of Treviso and a short distance from the old city centre. The villa, surrounded by more than a hectare of parkland has centennial trees, Mediterranean plants, an ancient well and the old family chapel, offers the great charm and simplicity of a captivating country house where privacy and intimacy blend with the elegant and refreshing spaces together with a high level of service and comfort.

The atmosphere of this private and elegant 16th century villa, the welcoming and comfortable environment where moments of relaxation can be alternated with business or leisure activities, the contained accommodation and the warm and friendly reception offered are guarantees of a memorable stay.

The villa offers its guests comfortable accommodation in three elegant suites of 32, 42 and 48 sq meters, each consisting of a bedroom with private facilities bath/shower with relevant accessories, a sitting room with minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet and a wall safe.

Situated north of Treviso, not far from the highway, Villa Zane is strategic point of departure for trips around the Veneto area: Treviso is only a few minutes away by bus or bicycles, (available to the guests) a ‘bonbonniere’ city of art with numerous enogastronomical and cultural attractions; 30 minutes by train to reach Venice and its wonderful ‘calli’, the artistic beauty of Padova, the beaches of Jesolo, the 18 hole Asolo Golf Club; a little more than an hour to reach the Dolomites – Cortina d’Ampezzo ‘a humanitarian heritage site’ or to admire the Arena of Verona and Garda Lake. Finally, the wine lovers can follow one of our itineraries, visiting the green hills of Valdobbiadene ‘the land of Prosecco’, living a truly and unforgettable experience.

Villa Zane’s staff will be happy to offer clients free transport from and to Treviso’s airport or train station.

Area mid-centre

Villa Zane is located just 5 km from the ancient walls of Treviso: a few hundred meters from the villa is the Borgo di Fontane (pharmacy, supermarket, take-away pizzeria, laundry, photographer, bakery, bar, pastry shop, ice cream parlor, florist,. .) and the bus stop n. 4 to reach the center. In a few minutes you can easily reach the Treviso station (6 Km), the Treviso-Venice "Canova" airport (10 Km) and the rugby stadium (Benetton Treviso) di Monigo (5 Km).

Villa Zane is located near the sources of the Pegorile river: on its course there were once mills and sawmills and, until the mid-nineteenth century, the river that continued its course towards Venice (first entering the Botteniga and then the Sile) represented a waterway used in particular for the transport of wood that came from the Montello wood and which was used to build foundations, briccole, gondole and burchielli.

Great property and wonderful park with pool! Very clean and pretty! The villa could be more beautiful with a little refurbishment and rearranging. But then of course, the price would for sure be a different one. We will return and were very happy with our choice. Very friendly and helpful owner, who makes this Villa an excellent choice for a weekend trip to explore Treviso and the area! Breakfast i only gave 7 points as I just had an espresso and a Cornetto. So didn’t really take advantage of the breakfast selection. Overall: great value for money!

Very beautiful structure with a fabulous park. Managers very helpful and attentive. The breakfast should include some pastries made by them, it would give a super tone. To recommend.

Beautiful villa in the middle of greenery, almost perfect, I cannot give the maximum score because there are small imperfections (the pool shower was not working). The manager is very kind and available to give you information of all kinds, even the breakfast girl is very pretty, the only negative point is the check-in until 11:00, then from 16:00... a bit inconvenient time. However, highly recommended, it feels like being at home.

It was very relaxing days at Villa Zane and we felt very comfortable. The "9" for the location comes from the accessibility and the "9" for the accommodation itself, because the rooms are only accessible via a staircase - which should not be a concern for younger guests like us.

Wonderful place immersed in a well-kept park, excellent hospitality, they make you feel at ease as if you were at your own home. What strikes the most is the history in Villa Zane, it is perceived as soon as you enter and one could write a book about it.

A magical location, at Villa Zane, surrounded by a perfectly maintained park. The secluded pool is a spectacle, relaxing, quiet, and very exclusive, the warm shower by the tub a much appreciated bonus. The manager of the property is present in a kind and discreet manner, a perfect host. The interior style is characterized by antique furniture, perfectly in line with the fairytale setting. A 12-minute drive from the parking lot of Treviso station, it is an excellent starting point to visit both the city and the beautiful surrounding areas. The only downside, if we really have to force ourselves to find one, is the curtains of the tub. In any case, a place absolutely worth recommending, with a huge park, capable of giving all guests of the property a corner of peace and tranquility.

Sono stato molto contento della scelta di villa Zane. La posizione appartata dona tranquillità e intimità al soggiorno, la casa è molto bella e curata, la stanza era spaziosa e con letto super comodo. Tanti i dettagli di arredo e di servizio che regalano l'atmosfera romantica ed elegante che cercavo. La colazione era abbondante e variegata, con prodotti locali freschi. La villa è circondata da un parco molto curato, dove si può anche stendere l'asciugamano per prendere il sole sull'erba circondati da alberi secolari. Il gestore è persona distinta e simpatica, che ci ha dato utili consigli anche per la permanenza a Treviso.
