Description

Malga Laben was born from the renovation of an ancient barn with a hayloft. It is located in Contrada Pozze in Velo Veronese, nestled in the greenery amidst pastures and woods. We were inspired by the beauty of Lessinia, by fairies and goblins, by abandoned hamlets that are able to tell their story. We were accompanied by cows with their bells, and elusive deer in the woods. The hearts of true artists, disguised as craftsmen, helped us to revive a place full of magic.

Surrounded by greenery and at the end of a white road, you will find our hamlet. All around there are only grassy meadows and small groves where deer and fawns often peek out during summer evenings.

In 4km, you can reach the center of Velo Veronese, a small mountain town on the Lessinia plateau.

The CAI 251 trail, a variant of the European E5 trail, passes right behind our mountain hut, making it an excellent starting point for all types of excursions.

Beautiful both the structure and the recently renovated apartment, in a truly beautiful mix of "mountain" and modern. Excellent choice for those who want to enjoy the mountains in relaxation with walks and the possibility of seeing wild animals. There are walks that start directly from the hamlet. Highly recommended.

We are always very happy to stay at Malga Laben. We have fallen in love with this beautiful reality. It is a small paradise of relaxation, made excellent by the friendliness and ability of the managers. This is our third visit to Malga and there will definitely be more.

We stayed at Malga Laben from December 24 to December 29, 2024. The structure is new, very well equipped and furnished with great taste. This is already the second time we stay this year and I believe we will return. The managers are available and kind and we found the premises clean! I recommend it.

Wonderful place, where the only sound that can be heard is the distant ringing of cowbells. There is a varied choice of paths in the surroundings and the room is very beautiful and well-kept. The access area to the parking lot could be improved.

A place where you can feel pampered. The pleasure of living almost in a large extended family, since, given the few rooms in the structure, a familiar atmosphere is quickly created with the other guests and especially with the managers, who are always courteous and ready to meet the needs of the clientele. Wonderful experience even for our children, as they played freely with the owners' children and with the other children in the small hamlet suspended in time. At night, the only noise is that of the crickets: peace, relaxation, and human warmth. And there is the possibility of excellent dinners, with genuine and quality products, prepared with love. The experience of renting the e-bike is also very nice.

A precious stone set in a mountain hut where peace and tranquility prevail. Everything is expertly managed by two young couples. Impeccable cleanliness, super abundant breakfast and, for those like us who have chosen half board, typical evening delicacies from the Veronese highlands. Highly recommended.

The property is located in a quiet area, easily accessible by car. The two-room apartment where we stayed was well-kept and clean; the kitchen provided with various dishes, coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher; the bathroom well-kept, with a courtesy set and a very spacious shower. There is also a small outdoor area with sun loungers and a small table and a spacious free parking lot. The owners are very kind and helpful. Overall, the stay was really pleasant, absolutely recommended.

Family environment. Thanks to the young owners, meticulously detailed and technologically updated while remaining in tradition with the materials used wood and stone. Very comfortable rooms and huge bathrooms. Very abundant breakfast with homemade pastries and jams. If desired, you can have dinner with a specially limited menu using tradition. Poor dumplings. Delicious, with a relative historical explanation. Creamed vegetables from the garden, platters of local cold cuts and cheeses. I discovered it by chance on the internet and it was a beautiful experience that I highly recommend. A special thanks and wish to the owners who are putting all their enthusiasm and skills.

The place is a bit out of the way compared to inhabited centers, ideal for those seeking tranquility and excursions in the woods. Nearby, I visited the Valley of the Sphinxes and recommend the visit. The owners are two nice, helpful, and welcoming people, the structure is new and tastefully renovated and very clean. The breakfast is plentiful and varied.

This is already the second time we stay at this bed and breakfast, as the location is an excellent example of recovering an ancient building, inside an old village in Lessinia; the rooms and the environment have been taken care of in every detail. The structure is family-run and all the staff are very kind; you feel pampered. It's worth mentioning the abundant breakfast. They are attentive to the customer's needs even in case of intolerances or specific requirements. Highly recommended! Not to forget the beauty of the nature surrounding the village.
