Description
Sant'Anna is one of the best Inns in Venice thanks to the hospitality and the comforts it provides. Ideal for couples and families with children who will find here the typical Venetian atmosphere of a private establishment. It is personally managed by the friendly Vianello family who takes care of all details of the Locanda. Rooms are found within an ancient Venetian building located in a picturesque small square with a beautiful view on a wide canal, and on the island of San Pietro di Castello, with the Cathedral of the same name. Rooms are decorated with simple elegance and comprise the reception, a large reading room, a magnificent terrace-solarium overlooking the Sestiere di Castello, and a breakfast room where they serve a continental breakfast at your table, which in summer is served in the delightful garden of the Locanda.

Area Giardini Biennale
In the heart of the most authentic Venice, in front of the island of San Pietro, next to the old Arsenale (Navy Yard), and the exhibition rooms of the International Biennale of Modern Art, and only a very beautiful 15-minute stroll from Saint Mark's Square, Hotel Locanda Sant'Anna is located in a peaceful and picturesque Campiello (small square) away from the tourist bustle. It is the ideal starting place to get to all points in the city on foot, and is very conveniently situated near the vaporetto that bring you to the main museums and landmarks. The “Giardini” stop for lines 51, 52 and 1 for Piazzale Roma (the car terminal), for the Train Station, and for the beaches of the Lido, and lines 41 and 42 for the famous islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, is only 5 minutes away. The "Alilaguna" direct line to the Airport of Venice takes off from the nearby “Arsenale” stop.

Nothing like what I saw in the photos. The bathroom is too small, the mattresses are hard, everything is old, very old. The room is ugly, there wasn't even a TV. It might be fine for adults, but not for a family like mine with 3 children.

Hotel à recommander pour sa tranquillité, l'amabilité et la disponibilité du propriétaire et du personnel (adorable dame au pt déjeuner). Le propriétaire a été très arrangeant pour nous sortir d'une réservation fantôme, encore un grand merci.

Ottima posizione per visitare sia la Biennale che il Lido in occasione del festival del cinema, le due mete che ci eravamo prefissi.
Il titolare è gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza. Nell'andazzo generale di Venezia non è male, ma basterebbero pochi piccoli investimenti per trasformare questa bella casa in un posto incantevole.

L'Hotel è in una buona posizione, vicina ai giardini della Biennale e in un luogo molto calmo. Come prezzo a Venezia è difficile trovare a meno e il rapporto qualità/prezzo secondo me è buono. La famiglia è molto accogliente e la colazione è addirittura abbondante, non ho capito che cosa si aspettassero coloro che hanno recensito con "scarsa colazione". In conclusione mi sono trovata bene.
