Description
Easy luxury: this is the best definition for a former apartment completely restored. In a central but quiet location very close to the action at the market and more touristic areas across the famous Rialto bridge (3min). Six large (31sq. m.) and bright rooms have been created, two are mansard rooms with exposed beams, skylights and parquet flooring. Every room is completely different from the next, has frescos inspired by renowned Venetians like Vivaldi or Casanova..has a king size bed with monogramed bedsheets, bedspreads and curtains of precious Thai silk, antique wardrobes and contemporary styled private bathrooms. Actually, it doesn't seem like a hotel at all; it's more like beeing in a sophisticated friend's house for the weekend.

The wife of a theater director who directed the Veneto stable theater, lived in Venice for 10 years, and invented this new job in the middle of her life after selling her pharmacy in Rome. She is a great traveler (speaks 3 languages), and before becoming a hotelier, she was and still is a big hotel customer. She tried to set up La Villeggiatura by putting herself on the customer's side and filling it with those small attentions that she likes when she travels. She filled the rooms with her passion for the Far East by purchasing silk curtains and various objects from around the world.

We had a great time, the manager is a lovely person, for sure if we go back to Venice we will return to La Villeggiatura.

A grab bar would be welcome for the bathtub as the access is very high. Make sure to vary the choice for breakfast.

Absolutely positive experience in this accommodation by me and my family. I was traveling with my husband and two daughters. The room was spacious, clean, and truly characteristic. The breakfast was rich and delicious. We felt pampered from start to finish by all the staff. Absolutely central location to visit Venice. When we return to Venice, we will definitely choose La Villeggiatura again. Thank you again.

We love this property due to its location. Peaceful and very accessible. Almost near to every place worth visiting and its convenience, having 2 kids where one with special needs, best recommended for everyone, Ms. BARBARA is such accommodating and well detailed on providing us important information. A refined Bed and Breakfast where you feel at home from the first moment. Great welcome, very kind and well-prepared staff to make you discover all the various facets (not just tourist ones) of such a unique city. Definitely worth returning.

Great location, very kind and helpful managers for everything. What can I say, I was very satisfied and the quality-price ratio is really good, especially considering what can be found in this city. It is truly an oasis in the desert. I will definitely return to stay there on my next trip to Venice.
