Welcome to Venice in our house of Cannaregio. I am Luisa and I live here with my two daughters.
It is located in the Sant’Alvise area, towards the North Lagoon. The house is about 70 sqm, on the mezzanine floor (3 steps) : it has an entrance and a small courtyard for exclusive use, kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, a living room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one with bathtub and washing machine and the other one with a shower.
The house has gas central heating, air conditioning and heat pump and mosquito nets. It is located in a very quiet location near the Park of Villa Groggia and sports facilities. But it is 5 minutes from the lively area full of shops and bars of Cannaregio.

Hello everyone, I am Luisa, Venetian by birth for generations. I live in Venice with my two teenage daughters, and I work in the field of urban waste management of the Metropolitan City of Venice. I decided to host travellers in my simple home in Cannaregio to help understand what it means to live in Venice today, in the third millennium. The house is located in the area of the North Lagoon in the Insula of Sant’Alvise, a few steps from shops and bars of the lively district of Cannaregio, in a quiet and peaceful environment, close to a park and sports facilities. You can reach in 2 minutes without bridges the stop of the ACTV lines 5. 1, 5. 2, 4. 1, 4. 2 to visit the island of Murano, the Lido of Venice, the Giudecca and still reach the railway (train station) and Piazzale Roma without effort.
The station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The other stop reachable in less than 10 minutes is San Marcuola, on the grand canal (lines 1 and 2 for San Marco, Lido or Ferrovia and Piazzale Roma). There is a large low cost supermarket nearby.

Accommodation close to a vaporetto stop, a line that serves the station from where you can then go anywhere, very practical! Very quiet neighborhood, which is nice after the crowd of the day, very pleasant. Two supermarkets within a 10-minute radius, lively bars, pizzeria, and osterie in the evening nearby. Comfortable accommodation, very well equipped, I recommend it.

We were lucky to discover this house during our recent visit to Venice. It is a true hidden gem, and we could not be happier with our choice. The location is absolutely perfect, right next to one of the picturesque Venetian canals. The house is tastefully furnished and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after long days of exploration. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm welcome from the owner. She provided valuable local information, restaurant recommendations, and must-see attractions. The house is located in Cannareggio, a rather quiet neighborhood away from the tourist crowds but, crossing two bridges, you are immediately in the center of the neighborhood with bars and shops. I highly recommend this place.

My stay at La Rotonda has been wonderful. I felt at home from the very first moment. Luisa, the owner, is charming, everything was easy with her. The house is divine, bright and much bigger than it may seem in the photos, it is in a beautiful, quiet area, where you do not perceive the tourist overcrowding and you feel like another Venetian. Very comfortable bed. You rest very well and you wake up refreshed. Just outside the house you have a beautiful view of a canal, two minutes away there is a vaporetto stop with two of the less crowded lines. In the same street there is a beautiful garden with free entrance and only 5 minutes walk away you have many bars and restaurants with tables in front of the canal where most of the customers are Venetians. There is a supermarket just a few minutes from the flat. Of all my stays in Venice, La Rotonda was without doubt the best. Highly recommended. Thanks a million Luisa for giving me the experience of staying at your place. Your beautiful energy is contagious.
