When I began designing my guesthouse, I first thought about my own personal style of travel. I remember a wonderful trip to Germany, the Black Forest; when I arrived, the guest was traveling and would be returning in a few days. When he returned to his home with his family, I prepared a welcome breakfast for them—me, for them! And at their home! It was fantastic; we chatted all afternoon, and it was truly enriching. So, when I travel, I look for accommodations that allow me to authentically meet the locals, learn about their history, and get to know them. I enjoy feeling welcomed into a real home, and I enjoy savoring the history and beauty of the place—the genius loci of the Romans. I have many fond memories of my travels, tied especially to the people I've met. In my guesthouse, I try to give my guests the same feeling; I welcome them and make them feel at home. I know my region well and enjoy offering advice on the surrounding area, providing travel guides and books that discuss the area's history and opportunities. I do everything I can to ensure your stay here, however short, remains a pleasant memory. Thanks to my guesthouse, I've met many interesting people, all of whom have left fond memories, and many of them have left notes with kind words or suggestions. I now have a guestbook available for anyone who wants to leave feedback on their stay; it's a kind of private review, but more intimate.

I work as a humanities teacher, but above all, I love trekking in the mountains and picking wild flowers and herbs to make herbal teas, jams, and liqueurs that I share with guests. When I rent the entire house, I live next door, so I can help you whenever you need and suggest places, restaurants, and more.

Welcome to my home!
