Description
The property features two independent entrances and includes three spacious, bright rooms (Cioccolato, Mentuccia, Violetta), each with its own private bathroom, as well as a studio with a separate entrance (Viola 3). Recently refurbished and elegantly furnished, each unit is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, complimentary toiletries, and a hairdryer. Furthermore, the entire residence has Wi-Fi access.
Viola 2 is an apartment created within a building that dates back to Roman and early medieval times, located at Via degli Orti 4, less than 50 meters from the Santa Chiara square. This space is designed to accommodate up to five people comfortably and includes two bathrooms.
The apartment walls feature charming stone support arches, likely from the 8th century, along with arches and cross vaults from later periods. Beneath the flooring, remnants of the Roman city can still be seen, including the Sanguinone aqueduct, which can be accessed through a well that was opened in the early medieval period and used until World War II for both water supply and as a shelter during bombings.
Respecting the historical value of the building, Viola 2 provides all the modern comforts for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The master bedroom comes with a TV, an en-suite bathroom, and a small yet well-organized walk-in closet. Common areas include a modern kitchen equipped with a table and chairs, as well as a living area with two convertible sofas, one double and one single. There is also a second bathroom and a utility room dedicated to laundry.

Each season presents a unique ambiance: in winter, the whisper of the wind accompanies your adventures, while in spring and summer, flower-filled balconies enhance the medieval facades. As you wander through the characteristic alleys of Assisi, you will be able to admire the beautiful pink stone buildings from the Subasio, dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries, along with narrow staircases and lovely little balconies that occasionally offer views of the lush valley below. This walk will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the allure of the past.
