Description

The B&B La Terrazza fior..Rita is located inside the castle of Ripa, built starting from the 13th century. The small village is located halfway between Perugia and Assisi. From here it is possible to quickly reach all the major Umbrian tourist resorts. Our flagship is the large panoramic terrace where, weather permitting, breakfast is served. The gaze sweeps over the hills and villages to the skyline of Perugia. All the rooms have been recently refurbished. The showers in the bathrooms are large and comfortable. The air conditioners guarantee an ideal climate in every season. Small refrigerators are available to guests. For those who choose the Erica Suite, the possibility of using a holistic, decontracting, relaxing, rebalancing and lymphatic drainage massage with a small surcharge on the cost of the room. In addition to pranotherapy. Rita and Mauro will be happy to give tourist information and suggestions on restaurants and pizzerias in the area.

The buffet breakfast served on the panoramic terrace is undoubtedly our highlight. Guests agree with the managers in the evening if they like salty, sweet or both. Always fresh and quality products. The buffet is so large that there are no extra preparations.

There are no dietary products for celiacs or allergy sufferers.

Together with my husband Mauro, a retired orchestra professor, we manage this small b & b. We do our best to make our guests' stay pleasant. Ripa is a small architectural jewel set in the heart of Umbria. The first enclosure of external walls dates back to 1264! In reality we were born in Bologna, a city we love and where our dearest loved ones reside, but having inherited this little gem, we decided to share it with as many people as possible. We have forged a strong bond of friendship with many of our guests. Guests who came from all over the world: United States, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, Switzerland, Israel, Germany, Belgium, India...

Not to mention friends from every region of our beautiful Italy! This is perhaps the most beautiful aspect of the b & b: meeting many interesting people and sharing different traditions. The pandemic forced us to close for a long time, but now we are ready to leave more determined than ever.

Relax and Pleasantness. Of the three days spent with Rita and Mauro, from the beginning we were struck by the sense of hospitality and domestic tranquility. We were warmly welcomed but without stress, and we stayed in a little gem of a room: the suite with a canopy bed, antique furniture, and plenty of space. The bathroom is large and modern, well-lit, spotlessly clean, and with a very spacious shower. We were looking for a B&B near the city but outside the city center, and here we found the perfect solution: the structure is inside the castle of Ripa, a wonderful medieval village perched among the hills, and from the famous terrace (truly blooming), where breakfast is served in good weather, the view extends from Perugia to Assisi. A special praise for breakfast, rich and satisfying, with a wide choice of sweet and savory options and a few little treats to start the day off right. Sitting at the table in the morning, admiring the green landscape while exchanging a few words with two pleasant and open people, is a true moment of happiness. Completely satisfied with the experience, it's a structure we highly recommend.

We stayed at this lovely Bed & Breakfast in August, together with my husband and our daughters. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a large, new bathroom, and with a great shower. What to say about the flowered terrace? It's wonderful, with a spectacular view. Breakfast is plentiful with various options. Finally, Mauro and Rita are two special and delightful people, who welcomed us as few others know how to do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The place is very nice in a small village just outside Perugia, the owners are very kind and helpful. Large and clean room. It's a pity that, in a quite hot period, both air conditioners were simultaneously broken, as well as the provided fan, the only downside for a facility that, considering the cost of the room, could have made an extra effort for the guests' well-being.

The structure is really very beautiful with great attention to detail. The location allows you to easily reach the Umbrian cities. The village is really very characteristic. Rita and Mauro are truly hospitable people with whom it is very pleasant to chat. The breakfast is super. Also, the cleanliness is excellent. We hope to come back soon.

I stayed for just one night; the structure is very pleasant, the room and bathroom are well furnished and there is great attention to detail. Furthermore, the owners are very kind people with whom it is pleasant to chat. The breakfast is really rich and abundant, a pity for the rainy day that did not allow us to enjoy it on the terrace from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Umbrian landscape. I gladly recommend staying at La Terrazza fio...Rita.

The structure is a little gem in the castle of Ripa. Tastefully renovated and very comfortable rooms. The managers are exquisite and very friendly people. Excellent location to visit the main Umbrian art cities.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast located in the historic center of a very small village surrounded by walls, on a hill about 10 km from Perugia, for those who love to retreat to the outskirts in a very quiet place. Spacious and well-equipped room with air conditioning, mosquito nets, fridge, TV, excellent Wi-Fi; bathroom with large shower cubicle, all very clean. The furnishings of the structure are very nice. Breakfast can be enjoyed on a large terrace with a splendid view, there is shade until mid-morning, it is served in part at the table, and the rest self-service, with good food products. Parking is outside the walls of the historic center but not very far, in a parking lot that in peak hours and periods may not have availability of spaces, however, it is always possible to find a solution nearby (a very small walk and still pleasant and healthy). The owners are very friendly, hospitable, and very kind.
