The Rifugio di San Francesco is a facility consisting of new, fully furnished apartments, suitable for a family of four, as well as couples and individuals traveling alone.
Each apartment has its own private entrance and a kitchen equipped with an induction stovetop and all the necessary cooking utensils. Each apartment has two air conditioners, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. Each apartment has a private bathroom: towels and linens are included in the price, as is use of the kitchen and air conditioning.
The facility also offers private parking and a relaxation area with a hot tub (for a fee)

All in all, we had a good time, clean and tidy. The managers were friendly people. The only drawback is that breakfast was included in the price, but they did not show up tomorrow for breakfast or anything. I called them to let them know we were coming and they said ok, leave the keys on the door. So no breakfast, they didn't even mention it.

The structure is located in a beautiful position, but internally it needs some maintenance. The cleanliness also needs to be improved. The breakfast is disappointing; there is an abyss between the photos and reality. Packaged croissants and jams are provided.

I can only consider myself more than satisfied with both the structure and the welcome. The property is located just outside Bastia a few hundred meters from the highway exit, making it very convenient to reach Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Foligno, and of course Santa Maria degli Angeli, practically one with Bastia. Not to mention the distance of only 1500 meters from UmbriaFiere, the trade fair center of Bastia Umbra. The two-room apartment was perfectly clean with scented towels and sheets. Equipped with a hairdryer, shampoo, etc., as well as a breakfast kit (biscuits, rusks, milk, coffee, etc.). The owner is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The property overlooks a patio that opens onto a wheat field bordered by fruit trees and a rose garden. Too bad about the rain because I imagine what it would have been like to read a good book outdoors with that peace and that view. Nothing to object to, certainly recommended. It's certain that next year, at the next sector fair, I will return.
