WHERE WE ARE
We are located in Santa Maria degli Angeli, just a 10-minute walk from the majestic Basilica of Porziuncola, where Saint Francis lived and died.

Santa Maria degli Angeli's privileged location makes it easy to explore the wonders of Assisi, easily accessible by car, public transportation (one every 30 minutes), or even on foot. Furthermore, thanks to its central location in Umbria, you can easily visit other historic Umbrian cities such as Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Montefalco, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto, Cascia, Norcia, the Marmore Falls, and many others.

As a guesthouse, accommodation does not include food or beverages, nor the use of the kitchenettes, which are available in the apartment.

The house is surrounded by a large garden, and parking is available within our fully fenced property. The house is occupied exclusively by the owners' family. We look forward to seeing you!
ROOMS AND SERVICES
On the ground floor of our house is the apartment dedicated to our "friends" who have chosen to stay with us. The apartment is divided into two independent areas: "A" and "B. "
Area A: includes two double bedrooms ("Le Rose" and "Le Violette") and a shared bathroom.

Please note, however, that the bathroom, located outside the two bedrooms, will be shared only if the occupants are part of the same family or a group of friends and agree to do so. Otherwise, only one room will be rented.

AREA B: includes a double bedroom ("I Mughetti") and a private bathroom.

€40 for a single person
Children up to 6 years old are free, while those aged 6 to 10 pay 50%.

My name is Marcella, and together with my husband Lanfranco, we are delighted to manage this establishment with great enthusiasm. For over twenty years, we initially operated as a B&B, and now we have transitioned into a guesthouse. The garden that surrounds our home is my special corner; I spend a lot of my time tending to it in every season. Each plant and every nook is an invaluable source of inspiration and tranquility for me. In particular, during the summer, I love to wake up early and spend hours in the garden, observing the small wonders of nature that surround us. Our home, which has seen our three children grow up, is now a haven for our six grandchildren!
Our experience in the hospitality industry has enriched us with smiles, stories, and unforgettable faces that we will always cherish. For us, every guest is someone to welcome with affection, respect, and care, and we strive to make them feel at home. We look forward to welcoming you!

We stayed for a few days, my wife and I, in this very charming and well-kept property run by Mrs. Marcella, whom we appreciated not only for her qualities as a host but also for her warmth, affection and great willingness to engage in conversation. Mr. Lanfranco, the manager of the property, was a mine of tips for us who are not regulars in Assisi and the surrounding area. Moreover, both Marcella and Lanfranco proved to be, from the start, very kind, discreet and attentive toward us and we felt at home. At the end of our stay we were given a pleasant handmade gift by Mrs. Marcella: a little embroidered bag with the word Assisi on it, containing fragrant lavender. A memento of our holiday and of the enchanting garden that frames the property.

Returning to Marcella and Lanfranco is like coming home. Their hospitality and availability are truly in tune with Assisi, a place of peace and relaxation. Marcella is sunny and positive, generous and willing to meet all requests. Lanfranco is a true mine of information. The house is very quiet and welcoming, very close to a well-stocked supermarket and a wonderful pastry shop.
