"The 'Podere Le Serrè is an Agriturismo located on the hills of Maremma Toscana, in the province of Grosseto.
It is situated in a completely untouched natural setting and benefits from its proximity to the medieval village of Roccalbegna, which can even be reached on foot. It is the ideal place for hikers and lovers of walking, with backpacks, but also for those seeking concentration to write, read, and draw.
The farmhouse has been inhabited since ancient times and we have restored it while preserving the original structure and recovering the ancient materials, those of the tradition of this territory: the local stone, chestnut beams, and the vast porticoes where one can enjoy the panoramic view in every season.
The accommodations for our guests are spacious rooms furnished in the style of Southern Tuscany. The Restaurant Room is a bright space, with a large white stone fireplace and a wide brick arch. In the evening, it is possible to dine at the large and small tables in the room. Alternatively, during the beautiful season, one can choose a table outdoors, on the porch overlooking the garden.
Upstairs, we have a panoramic terrace equipped for relaxation, and even our porticoes have tables, armchairs, and chairs for enjoying the outdoors, in the scenery of the hills.
We take particular care of the cuisine, for which we use local products, in addition to those from our orchard, vineyard, and olive grove.

Our breakfast is served at the large and small tables of the dining room, or depending on the season, at the large and small tables of the spacious porch in the garden; it is a moment of great tranquility, during which it is possible to ask for and receive advice on how to best organize excursions, visits, and daily activities.
In addition to hot and cold drinks - coffee, milk, tea, fruit juices - we offer our guests local products such as Tuscan cake, bread from the local bakery, and jams from our orchard.
The milk is from the Maremma Breeders Consortium, as well as the butter, and the bread is the traditional "sciapo" bread from the Roccalbegna bakery.
If the orchard rewards us generously for our efforts, we also serve our own fruit.
If there are guests with allergy or intolerance problems, we ask them to let us know what they should avoid and we organize alternative preparations.
Similarly, for dinners, we also prepare vegetarian dishes upon request.

Restaurant
The room overlooks the park and the panorama of the surrounding hills, through large windows. The ceiling is made of chestnut beams, the tables and chairs are in dark wood, and the walls are decorated with paintings by the owner, who is a writer and painter, as well as a passionate cook.

Hello, I'm Margherita. I have a deep love for nature, animals, my beautiful Tuscany, and I enjoy sharing the landscapes, artistic beauty, flavors, and traditional recipes that tell us countless stories about places and people.

‘Podere Le Serre’ is a 1 & ½ hour drive from Florence, less than 1 hour drive from Siena, less than 1 hour drive from the Coast of "Tirreno Sea", ½ hour drive from Mount Amiata (1737 mt). There are some WWF oasis, and ecological sanctuaries such as The Natural Reserve of Rocconi and the Faunistic Park of Monte Labbro.
Beautiful and picturesque sea-villages are waiting for you - Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole, Alberese. You can enjoy mineral water therapy at the baths of charming Saturnia, but spa facilities are everywhere: Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, San Casciano Bagni.
Famous towns such as Siena, Pisa, Arezzo, Firenze are easily reachable. If you are fond of Art, you can discover the artistic treasures of medieval ‘borghi’ wandering around the streets and visiting ancient monuments and artistic masterpieces. We only stayed one night at Podere Le Serre, but we can say we had a wonderful evening in the company of Margherita. The owner of the agriturismo was the icing on the cake for her friendliness, with extensive knowledge of many subjects, and it was a pleasure to converse with her. The candlelit dinner in a silence that is hard to find completed the experience. Our dog was also very happy, just like us. Goodbye Margherita, we hope to return. Claudio and Stefania.

A farmhouse in the middle of nature and a unique welcome, Podere Le Serre in my opinion is a true agriturismo, where you eat excellent dishes in the company of stories and laughter, listen to the animals in silence, has a great location to visit Maremma and then... there's Margherita who makes you feel not a guest, but a friend! Everything was great... the place in the middle of nature, the kindness and helpfulness of Margherita, the breakfast. The only thing I underestimated is the last bit of road to get there is made of stones and gravel downhill... on the way there everything was fine. On the way back uphill the car lost grip at one point and I got stuck. Margherita was ready to help us by also calling a tractor to tow us... then after trying hard we managed without the need for the tractor. So if you have a 4x4 car and a bit high no problem (I had a very low new Toyota Auris) otherwise park at the top of the hill and walk a bit.

Podere Le Serre is located in a very unique setting, immersed in nature among the hills of Maremma. It offers the opportunity to relax or focus by taking walks among olive trees, fruit trees, and ancient oaks in total silence. The location is also convenient for visiting the most beautiful centers of Maremma and the Val d'Orcia. Margherita is a perfect host and an extraordinary cook, her knowledge of the area was important in discovering places and beauties that I didn't know. I chatted very willingly with her, she is a very sensitive and cultured person who manages to immediately put guests at ease. I was sorry to leave!

A real surprise. A wonderful place for those who love nature and tranquility, we even got to know a deer up close who now always comes to Podere Le Serre. Margherita made us spend unforgettable hours and we would have chatted with her for hours and hours, a very cultured woman and incredibly friendly. We dined with her and felt at home, a super genuine cuisine at a very low cost. We hope to return in another time of the year with much more calmness and if we manage to go on excursions; nearby there is also the WWF reserve. Highly recommended.

The lady was helpful and welcoming. Beautiful location, surrounded by nature. There are 300 meters to walk to reach Podere Le Serre, but in return there is a lot of tranquility.

Very beautiful location, immersed in nature. Perfect location for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. It's also particular to reach the structure because unless you have a 4x4, you have to walk a stretch of steep dirt road, but it's worth it because you're immersed in nature and the Maremma hills. Mrs. Margherita is a very welcoming and cultured person, as well as having great insights. She recommended a nice tour to do in the truly characteristic surroundings. Great cook, delicious dinner. We only made a one-day stop and we had a great time. Margherita is a very welcoming and sociable person. We had a great and plentiful dinner. The landscape is enchanting. The place is secluded and suitable for both relaxation and living in nature. We felt at home.

Il podere di per sé è un ottimo posto se si vuole riposare in tranquillità immerso nella totale natura.
Le camera sono accoglienti il bagno però non è all' interno della stanza ma accanto.
La colazione è abbondante com marmellate buonissime fatte dalla padrona pane burro torta biscotti ecc ecc tutto preparato con molta attenzione.
L'accoglienza è ottima e la signora Margherita è disponibile in tutto.
Se si vuole andare alle terme o alle cascate del mulino.
La posizione non è proprio ottima perché distante.
Consigliabile andare con un 4x4 perché la stradina che porta al podere e molto dissestata e ha un tratto di discesa ripida ma comunque Margherita si mette a disposizione per salire con il suo pik-up e portarvi giù.

Ottime l'ospitalità, l'atmosfera e la struttura che si trova immersa in un paesaggio notevole. Un angolo di paradiso gestito molto bene. Unico aspetto un po' critico, Come ci era stato giustamente anticipato alla prenotazione, l'accessibilità: è migliore con una macchina adatta (4x4) per via del tratto finale di strada ripida.

Accoglienza eccellente, la proprietaria è gentilissima e conosce benissimo la Maremma, traspare la sua infinita passione per questa terra. La struttura è molto curata. Bel posto davvero.

Struttura in posizione unica. Infonde senso di assoluta tranquillità e libertà. Gestori a dir poco eccezionali. Riunendo la famiglia per un week abbiamo occupato tutto il B&B. L'agriturismo è immerso nella natura. Le stanze sono grandi e in due stanze il bagno è esterno, ma riservato. Margherita e Antonio sono stati stupendi, presenti ma discreti pronti a dare consigli su cosa visitare, sempre disponibili a fare due chiacchiere. Abbiamo prenotato per la sera di arrivo e dopo le prime due portate abbiamo deciso di cenare li anche la sera del giorno successivo. Cene stupende, piatti eccellenti e abbondanti! utilizzando prodotti locali ottimi e ortaggi coltivati nelle terre che circondano il casale. Dolci semplici ma buoni alcuni comprati altri fatti da loro. In 10 tutti d'accordo che non si poteva pretendere di più! 10 persone quattro cani una bimba e ci hanno sopportato e accontentato senza mai dire nulla e sempre con estrema gentilezza. Grazie.

L'agriturismo è immerso nella natura (non adatto a chi cerca un luogo centrale per fare "serata"). La stanza è ampia anche per chi come noi viaggia in famiglia. Anche il bagno è grande e c'è la vasca. I due ospiti sono meravigliosi, pronti a dare consigli su cosa visitare, disponibili a fare due chiacchiere. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione e mai scelta fu più felice. Margherita ed Antonio ci hanno preparato delle cene stupende, con ricette della tradizione, prodotti locali e molto spesso coltivati da loro stessi. Piatti strepitosi e abbondanti! Insomma, per quanto ci riguarda, non potevamo chiedere di più.

Di notevole impatto per la semplicità. immerso nelle colline di Roccalbegna.
Il signor Antonio e la signora Margherita ci hanno accolti con grande cordialità e insieme abbiamo trascorso un'emozionante cenone di capodanno. tutti piatti della tradizione maremmana cucinati sapientemente dalla signora Margherita.
ci siamo trattenuti 2 notti e anche la cena del secondo giorno non è stata da meno (tortelli, arista e cotechino assolutamente divini!).
