"The 'Podere Le Serrè is an Agriturismo located on the hills of Maremma Toscana, in the province of Grosseto.
It is situated in a completely untouched natural setting and benefits from its proximity to the medieval village of Roccalbegna, which can even be reached on foot. It is the ideal place for hikers and lovers of walking, with backpacks, but also for those seeking concentration to write, read, and draw.
The farmhouse has been inhabited since ancient times and we have restored it while preserving the original structure and recovering the ancient materials, those of the tradition of this territory: the local stone, chestnut beams, and the vast porticoes where one can enjoy the panoramic view in every season.
The accommodations for our guests are spacious rooms furnished in the style of Southern Tuscany. The Restaurant Room is a bright space, with a large white stone fireplace and a wide brick arch. In the evening, it is possible to dine at the large and small tables in the room. Alternatively, during the beautiful season, one can choose a table outdoors, on the porch overlooking the garden.
Upstairs, we have a panoramic terrace equipped for relaxation, and even our porticoes have tables, armchairs, and chairs for enjoying the outdoors, in the scenery of the hills.
We take particular care of the cuisine, for which we use local products, in addition to those from our orchard, vineyard, and olive grove.

In addition to hot and cold drinks - coffee, milk, tea, fruit juices - we offer our guests local products such as Tuscan cake, bread from the local bakery, and jams from our orchard.

If the orchard rewards us generously for our efforts, we also serve our own fruit.

The room overlooks the park and the panorama of the surrounding hills, through large windows. The ceiling is made of chestnut beams, the tables and chairs are in dark wood, and the walls are decorated with paintings by the owner, who is a writer and painter, as well as a passionate cook.

A nice place but poorly maintained. We stayed in the quadruple room, which was very dirty, and the bathroom was extremely dirty. Inside, there is a strong smell of dampness. It needs a good cleaning, I am sorry.

We only stayed one night at Podere Le Serre, but we can say we had a wonderful evening in the company of Margherita. The owner of the agriturismo was the icing on the cake for her friendliness, with extensive knowledge of many subjects, and it was a pleasure to converse with her. The candlelit dinner in a silence that is hard to find completed the experience. Our dog was also very happy, just like us. Goodbye Margherita, we hope to return. Claudio and Stefania.

A farmhouse in the middle of nature and a unique welcome, Podere Le Serre in my opinion is a true agriturismo, where you eat excellent dishes in the company of stories and laughter, listen to the animals in silence, has a great location to visit Maremma and then... there's Margherita who makes you feel not a guest, but a friend! Everything was great... the place in the middle of nature, the kindness and helpfulness of Margherita, the breakfast. The only thing I underestimated is the last bit of road to get there is made of stones and gravel downhill... on the way there everything was fine. On the way back uphill the car lost grip at one point and I got stuck. Margherita was ready to help us by also calling a tractor to tow us... then after trying hard we managed without the need for the tractor. So if you have a 4x4 car and a bit high no problem (I had a very low new Toyota Auris) otherwise park at the top of the hill and walk a bit.

Podere Le Serre is located in a very unique setting, immersed in nature among the hills of Maremma. It offers the opportunity to relax or focus by taking walks among olive trees, fruit trees, and ancient oaks in total silence. The location is also convenient for visiting the most beautiful centers of Maremma and the Val d'Orcia. Margherita is a perfect host and an extraordinary cook, her knowledge of the area was important in discovering places and beauties that I didn't know. I chatted very willingly with her, she is a very sensitive and cultured person who manages to immediately put guests at ease. I was sorry to leave!

A real surprise. A wonderful place for those who love nature and tranquility, we even got to know a deer up close who now always comes to Podere Le Serre. Margherita made us spend unforgettable hours and we would have chatted with her for hours and hours, a very cultured woman and incredibly friendly. We dined with her and felt at home, a super genuine cuisine at a very low cost. We hope to return in another time of the year with much more calmness and if we manage to go on excursions; nearby there is also the WWF reserve. Highly recommended.

The lady was helpful and welcoming. Beautiful location, surrounded by nature. There are 300 meters to walk to reach Podere Le Serre, but in return there is a lot of tranquility.

Very beautiful location, immersed in nature. Perfect location for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. It's also particular to reach the structure because unless you have a 4x4, you have to walk a stretch of steep dirt road, but it's worth it because you're immersed in nature and the Maremma hills. Mrs. Margherita is a very welcoming and cultured person, as well as having great insights. She recommended a nice tour to do in the truly characteristic surroundings. Great cook, delicious dinner. We only made a one-day stop and we had a great time. Margherita is a very welcoming and sociable person. We had a great and plentiful dinner. The landscape is enchanting. The place is secluded and suitable for both relaxation and living in nature. We felt at home.

Podere Le Serre itself is a great place if you want to rest in tranquility immersed in nature. The rooms are cozy, but the bathroom is not inside the room but next to it. The breakfast is plentiful with delicious jams made by the landlady, bread, butter, cake, cookies, etc., all prepared with great care. The welcome is excellent and Mrs. Margherita is available for everything. If you want to go to the thermal baths or the Mulino waterfalls, the location is not ideal because it is distant. It is advisable to go with a 4x4 because the road that leads to the farm is very rough and has a steep downhill stretch, but Margherita is available to pick you up and take you down.

Excellent hospitality, atmosphere, and the structure located in a remarkable landscape. A corner of paradise managed very well. The only slightly critical aspect, as we were rightly informed at the booking, is the accessibility: it is better with a suitable car (4x4) due to the final steep stretch of road.

Unique location. Inspires a sense of absolute tranquility and freedom. The managers are exceptional to say the least. They cook in a sublime way and eat together with the guests gathered around the same table. Four chats and laughs together. Beautiful. Exceptional value for money. I will definitely come back.

Gathering the family for a weekend, we occupied the entire B&B Podere Le Serre. The farmhouse is nestled in nature. The rooms are spacious, and in two of them, the bathroom is external but private. Margherita and Antonio were wonderful, present but discreet, ready to give advice on what to visit, always available for a chat. We booked for the evening of arrival, and after the first two courses, we decided to dine there also the following evening. The dinners were amazing, excellent and plentiful dishes, using excellent local products and vegetables cultivated in the surrounding lands of the farmhouse. The desserts were simple but good, some bought and others made by them. With 10 people, four dogs, a girl, they tolerated and satisfied us without ever saying anything and always with extreme kindness. Thank you.

It's like having spent three days at a friend's house. Margherita and Antonio, besides being very nice, are excellent hosts. The dinners were superb. I recommend to future guests a preventive fast considering the quality and quantity of the offer. Recommended.

The agriturismo is immersed in nature (not suitable for those looking for a central place to spend the evening). The room is spacious even for a family like us. The bathroom is also large and has a bathtub. The two hosts are wonderful, ready to give advice on what to visit, available to chat. We opted for half board and never was a happier choice. Margherita and Antonio prepared wonderful dinners for us, with traditional recipes, local products, and often grown by themselves. Amazing and plentiful dishes! All in all, as far as we are concerned, we could not ask for more.

Of remarkable impact for its simplicity, nestled in the hills of Roccalbegna. Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Margherita welcomed us with great warmth and together we spent an exciting New Year's Eve dinner, all dishes of the Maremma tradition expertly cooked by Mrs. Margherita. We stayed for 2 nights and even the dinner of the second day was not inferior (tortelli, arista, and cotechino absolutely divine!). Abundant breakfasts. Recommended for families and groups of friends.
