Located near Pisa, 4 km from Galileo Galilei Airport and 7 km from the Port of Livorno, it offers tranquility and hospitality, and is an ideal starting point for visiting the art cities of Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Florence, or spending a few days at the seaside with its free or equipped beaches. National and international flights depart and arrive every day from Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport. Near the city of Livorno with an international port, it is a starting point for the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, which is also a marine park, for the large islands of Sardinia and Corsica, and for cruises throughout the Mediterranean. Come and visit us, even just for the weekend, and you will find friendliness, familiarity and courtesy.

The simple-style environment has four rooms on the upper floor with any arrangement from single to double. The spacious rooms are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter. In the morning, you can enjoy waking up to the sounds of nature and the songs of courtyard animals that create a forgotten atmosphere, the opposite of the chaos of cities.

All rooms are equipped with wifi internet and TV. For guests, there is also a large rustic-style Relax room with wooden beams to be used in common for socializing, a Food corner with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine to consume breakfast or other needs. There are two bathrooms with every amenity. These are located in the adjacent corridor, and shared use is undifferentiated if all four rooms are occupied. In the bathrooms, you will find a hairdryer at your disposal, and guests will find a set of 2 towels per person in their own room. Access to the property is not allowed from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

To spend a simple night, the Pigreco is good. However, for staying more than one night, it is less suitable. No air conditioning from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., and even if requested, it is refused (in the middle of August at 40 degrees); moreover, you cannot go out during the day without being self-sufficient, the key does not work during the day, you have to call reception. Breakfast included is abundant, not high-quality products but it can do the job. Television without a remote control. The staff is polite and still available.

The structure needs a complete renovation, the room has a nauseating smell. I opened the window but had to close it because there was no mosquito net and there were numerous cobwebs between the window and the outer shutter. The bathroom, although outside the room, was clean and equipped with good quality products. The breakfast, presented in a plastic box, contained numerous coffee pods, a jam, a snack, a carton of milk, a carton of juice, and a pack of toast. However, water was missing, which is unacceptable. They offer the possibility of late check-in and are very helpful.

For those like us who need to stay only one night, this bed and breakfast is sufficient. Near the highway. Room with five beds even though we were two (so very comfortable), perfectly functioning air conditioning. Small bathroom, everything necessary present (hairdryer, soap, towels), but we found the floors dirty and the toilet paper running out. We communicated this the next day, by phone, to the owner but we did not receive any feedback. The breakfast follows excellent hygiene and health standards with all disposable products... but there isn't much choice: coffee pods, milk, and tea are available. As for the food, we found two croissants without any indication of what they were... and that's it. Not even a dry biscuit. I found a package of rusks, little jars of jam, and yogurt in the shared kitchenette fridge.

Cordial and very helpful managers. The response to messages is immediate. The cleanliness of the common areas is good but unfortunately we cannot say the same about the room which was full of dust on the bed headboards as well as on the floor. Some stains on the pillowcases and that explains the cleanliness rating. The door didn't close well and neither did the window, fortunately the air conditioner compensated for the cold and humidity coming in. However, nothing was touched, we found everything exactly as it was and where it was. The area is quiet and easy to reach with the navigator. For a two-night stay, only one breakfast was provided.
