Monclassico once also included the mountain hamlets of Bolentina and Montes, today the two villages of Monclassico and Presson following the merger of the municipalities of Dimaro and Monclassico, from January 2016, are part of the new municipality called Dimaro Folgarida.

In Monclassico, the fruit-growing border crosses. In 2002, an interesting project was launched to make Monclassico the village of artistic sundials. Since then, contemporary artists of national and international renown have been creating five sundials on the outside walls of buildings and houses in the village every July, and to date there have been 50.

Since 2008, the first biolago in Trentino has been open in Monclassico: a natural open-air swimming pool, whose purification is guaranteed by aquatic plants and microorganisms, with ample space for games and recreation.

AN EMOTION 150 KM LONG? - A LARGE SKI AREA "ON SKIS" ????
The ski touring link between Folgarida Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo allows you to ski in a single ski area with 150 km of slopes and 62 ski lifts in the heart of the? Brenta Dolomites. It is possible to reach the ski area directly from Val di Sole thanks to 4 cableways: two directly from Folgarida, one from the centre of the valley, namely Daolasa and one from Marilleva.

The CAMPIGLIO DOLOMITI DI BRENTA Val di Sole Val Rendena ski area also offers the possibility of skiing in the Folgarida-Marilleva ski area alone, which has 25 modern ski lifts and 36 ski runs for a total of 62 kilometres of slopes, two of which are illuminated for night skiing: an authentic paradise for lovers of alpine skiing and snowboarding.

The Skiarea, thanks to the 8-seater gondola with boarding plan directly from the Daolasa Commezzadura stop, integrates perfectly with the Trento-Malé-Mezzana railway, creating a "rubber-rail-rope" system: the first in Italy!
