With the Pesaro Capitale Card, visitors can access museums and cultural attractions, including the Ducal Palace, the National Rossini Museum, the Civic Museums of Palazzo Mosca, the Sonosfera and other historical and artistic gems.

In the heart of the ancient medieval village of Candelara, every evening the artificial lighting will be switched off twice (at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) to make way for candlelight alone, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere. A tourist train will take visitors on an enchanting guided tour through the hills, with stops at Villa Berloni, the Pieve di Santo Stefano church and the Museum of the Loom and Embroidery, also offering the opportunity to have lunch or dinner by candlelight in a historic 16th-century residence.

Attractions and shows

Along the village walls, artistic installations evoke the themes of Advent – prophets, shepherds, angels and Bethlehem – and every Sunday the Advent Tower will display a new theme, recalling the magic of Christmas. Illuminated stilt-walkers, elves, jugglers, bagpipers and travelling musicians all return, while the Jubilate choir of Candelara will perform Christmas carols echoing through the village streets.

At the Candelara market, you can buy handcrafted beeswax candles, wrought-iron sculptures illuminated by hundreds of candles and selected artisanal gifts, as well as the traditional nativity scene handmade by the Morelli brothers. Children will love the popular Elves' Workshop, where they can take part in creative activities and meet Father Christmas in his cottage, with the chance to hand over their wish lists.

A unique market and a giant Christmas tree

More than seventy wooden chalets will line the village streets, offering decorations, candles of all kinds and handicrafts for all ages. Completing the scene is a gigantic 20-metre-high Christmas tree, decorated with thousands of colourful LEDs, visible along the city walls.
