Overall, I had a very good experience in this apartment in Palermo. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city, which is perfect for making the most of the stay. Admittedly, at first the apartment can be a bit tricky to find, but Luigi is an exceptional host: always available, very professional and extremely friendly. Communication with him is smooth, and he is always ready to help and to guide if needed, which is much appreciated. Regarding the apartment, I stayed there for only two nights, and it met my expectations perfectly. The accommodation is fairly clean, well equipped and very well located. Small negative points to note: the neighborhood can be a bit noisy. However, this is part of local life in Sicily where people are expressive and speak loudly — so it is in no way Luigi's fault. Another point that personally bothered me is the noise from the hot water tank located on the balcony. Each time water is used (kitchen, bathroom or even the washing machine, which is by the way much appreciated in the apartment), the tank makes a lot of noise. It's a detail, but it can be annoying depending on your sensitivity to noise. In summary, I recommend this apartment without hesitation. Thanks again to Luigi for his welcome, and I will not hesitate to return during a future stay in Palermo.
