Located in the region of San Giovanni Montebello - Comune di Giarre – Province of Catania, situated at the foot of Mount Etna, and only minutes away from the stunning beaches. One would enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view which can be seen from the specatular Taormina along the coastline to Catania. This old-fashioned countryhouse from the 1800’s, was well restored, and restructured, retaining its original architecture. Covering 8 hectares of cultivated land of citrus orchard (mandarins, lemons, oranges, ruby-grapefruit and cherries).
Perfect for those who are finding peace and tranquility.
Continuing, the abovementioned restructure of this beautiful countryhouse, in its past used its main centre as a millstone. Today the old press is kept and preserved. The other wing of the countryhouse, was once used for the workers and helpers on the estate and now it’s used as a guest house.
The structure of the countryhouse has been designed for the accessability for the handicapped. Also offering a warm hospitality to accomodate its guests with its newly renovated bedrooms including its own bathroom, freshly changed linen, television and air conditioning.
Its cuisine aims to retain its traditional recipes providing the typical Sicilian dishes, including homemade pasta and bread, ricotta, first grade meat and the fresh fruit grown in its own estate.

Typical Sicilian cured meats, wild boar, pecorino cheese with jams and honey.

Beautiful, charming accommodation with a great view. Nice, clean rooms with heating air conditioning, hot water. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking available. I did not try the restaurant.

Great place to relax. Great location between the sea and the volcano. Great quality of food in terms of variety and portions. I want to return as soon as possible, not just for a weekend.
