We are at the center of the marvelous cost-line between the tawns of Trapani and Marsala, right the natural preserve of salt-works, very near to the beautiful beach of Marausa in front if the well-knows Egadi's Islands where you can look at unforgattable sunsets.
B&B Solesun is an ideal location to spend ones holiday unwilling in a silent and relaxing atmosphere, which offers a unique experience in harmony with the nature and the typical Sicilian flavors.
B&B Solesan offers a friendly accomodation in a bedroom with independent entrance, equipped with private bathroom, sure to satisfy every needs may occur. Breakfast included. Dinner is available if requested.
How to get the place:
It's abuot 3 km. from the Trapani-Birgi (Vincenzo Florio) airport, very near to the A29 motorway. Caming from Birgi airport, take the SP21 (direction Trapani), after about 3 km turn right in strada Locogrande (you will see the cantina Ballotta). Go further on for about 300mt. the place is at strada Locogrande n. 69. From Palermo, take the exit for Marausa then turn left and follow the road signs to Locogrande (yuo will see the "Cantina Ballotta". Go further on for abuot 300m, the place is at "Strada Locogrande", n. 69
All the most imporant sightseeings of the area are very easy to reach from "Solesun":
-Trapani (10 minutes), with its beautiful harbour and old town.
from Trapani you take the ferries to Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, the beautiful Egadis' islands. Ferries from here link even Pantelleria.
- Erice (20 minutes) a beautiful middle age village on the top of a mountain
- Marsala (10 minutes) the city famous for its wine
- Segesta and Selinunte temples area (30 - 40 minutes)
- San Vito Lo Capo (45 minutes) with its gold beaches
- The "Salines Park" (5 minutes). Along SP 21 Trapani-Marsala.
Nearby you can enjoy horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, and many hiking and watching plays

I am a person who loves the quiet places and beautiful views. I like to stay in contact with the true things like the nature, the animals, and people who remain always the more interesting monument to discover because only and unrepeatable and in any case various.
I define myself a dreamer and a good observer, much stubborn and onlooker. I love the good kitchen and the good wine. I am a thinker and I often travel with my mind in order to donate happy thoughts so to clear up my spirit and my mind sometime taken from too many thoughts. I love make conversation and to make long walks, to go to the sea, to ride bicycle and to work in the fields where drainage the accumulated tension and truble in office.
I hope it is enough but if you want to know same more you need to come to spend your holiday in my property.

Solesun B&B is located between the cities of Trapani and Marsala, just 3 km from the airport of Trapani (Vincenzo Florio). Just 300 m. from the A29 motorway, if you come from Palermo (1 hour), take exit "Marausa" then turn left and follow signs to Locogrande. We are at n. 69.
From the airport take the SP21 towards Trapani, after about 3 km turn right into Strada Locogrande (at the winery Ballotta). You will find us at number 69.

Mr. Salvatore was kind, helpful, and welcoming, as well as his entire family. The location of the B&B is quite convenient and strategic, especially if you are traveling by car: it is halfway between Trapani and Marsala, so you can easily move in both directions. It is in a quiet location (Locogrande), silent, away from traffic and the (a bit) chaotic (as it is normal in August) but beautiful Trapani. The only flaw I found, and it is a suggestion to Mr. Salvatore: the absence of air conditioning. Not irrelevant in a land like the splendid Sicily, where you can die from the heat in the summer months.

The cordiality and friendliness of Mr. Salvatore will make us remember his hospitality and that of his land. \nEven without breakfast, we had a great time. \nThe pleasantness of the place, the silence (interrupted only by the pleasant bray of a donkey) and the cleanliness thrilled us, and if we return to Sicily, we will definitely come back.

Il luogo ideale dove sentirvi coccolati, immersi in un giardino stupendo e avvolti da un'atmosfera romantica, nella Sicilia vera.
I proprietari sono persone squisite, pronti a soddisfare ogni vostra esigenza, la colazione con torte fatte in casa e con frutta raccolta dal loro giardino, le crepes fatte sul momento da leccarsi i baffi e su richiesta un'ottima cena tipica.
Per non parlare dell'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
La posizione vicina all'aeroporto e alle maggiori attrazioni rende questo posto una location ideale.
Ci torneremo volentieri l'anno prossimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il B&B Solesun una settimana nel mese di luglio. Molto comoda è la sua posizione in quanto vicino sia all'aeroporto di Trapani (circa 5 minuti) che alle diverse località turistiche della zona. La nostra camera era molto pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, ma sono state soprattutto la gentilezza e l'ospitalità dei proprietari a rendere il soggiorno piacevole. Consigliamo vivamente questo B&B a chiunque voglia passare una vacanza rilassante.

Pur avendo soggiornato con mia moglie per un solo giorno abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare la cordialità e professionalità dell'accoglienza e l'estrema pulizia e decoro della bella camera assegnataci. Non voglio dimenticare l'ottima cena consumata in compagnia dei titolari. Tutto ok.

B&B Solesun was the beginning and the end of our lovely trip in Sicily (april 2013). We stayed there for 5 days. The rooms, and in particular the bathroom was very nice and clean. B&B Solesun is a perfect place for visiting the west coast of Sicily: from the airport of Birgi (Trapani) it only takes a few minutes to reach the place; from there we visited Le Saline, Erice, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo. Nearby there is a good restaurant. But what's more, the owners, Salvatore and his wife are very nice and helpful. We cherish the evenings we chatted together over a fine glass of home made limoncello.
