B&B Garibaldi

I take issue with properties that advertise features they don’t provide. In this case, Wi-Fi and breakfast. This weighs heavily against them (bait and switch). The owner was clear that they did not provide either, despite my showing these features on their site (via B&B Italy). This did not faze them at all. The place is cheap enough, however. The single room has a single bed, more like a cot, with an uncomfortable old mattress. Space and TV are okay, with a nice barrel‑vaulted ceiling and a lovely view of the old courtyard. It is quiet. There was no cleaning of the room during a seven‑night stay, and the kitchen area was cleaned only once in that time. The hosts promote the kitchen, but it lacks many utensils such as pots and pans. You need four keys to get from the street to your room. Then you fumble with all the keys every time you need to use the bathroom. The room door lock was tricky. Take your chances.

Nice stay, practically a stone's throw from the center.

The structure did not correspond to the reservation made. The manager was evasive about the wifi issue. Breakfast, although provided, consisted of a coffee packet to be made independently and a package of already opened snacks. Spartan accommodation.

Clean and very tidy room. Very close to the center and surrounded by many services for this reason. The area is quiet and the excellent location of the B&B Garibaldi allows you to visit the various museums and tourist areas of the city.

The manager made a bit of confusion with my reservation on the first day but he managed to sort it out excellently and for the rest of my stay he was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this B&B.
