Description

Agramonte B&B is situated among the countryside below the hill on which stands Ispica, a small town lending itself as a movie set thanks to its architectural examples of Baroque and Art Nouveau.

Agramonte is the name given to the town by the director Pietro Germi in “Divorzio all' italiana”, a movie of 1961.

The excellent position of the building gives you the opportunity to discover other towns of the so-called area “Val di Noto” such as Modica, Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Noto, Catania, considered as Late Baroque diamond tips, wisely reconstructed after the earthquake of 1693.

The sea washes the beaches of these places one by one, showing stunning scenery to the visitor. The renowned beaches of Pozzallo and Santa Maria del Focallo are easy to reach (7-8 km).

Hospitality, quiet and comfort suitable for tourist are ensured by Agramonte to anyone who decides to sojourn here.

And what can I say, better than this it's impossible. Absolutely nothing is missing. Miss Laura is overly attentive to the tourist's needs and her hospitality is typical of the wonderful Sicily and its people. Mom's cakes are always excellent, the rooms more than comfortable, in short, I think that if I return to that area of Sicily that is very dear to me, it will definitely be at Agramonte.

New structure, furnished with care and good taste. Spacious room. Kindness of the owners. Recommended for excellent value for money. Verify the characteristics declared by the Manager. We will definitely return.
