Description

By staying at our Bed and Breakfast in Posada - Nuoro, you will understand why it is worth spending a few extra euros for your vacation. Our rooms are equipped with all the comforts for a special vacation, including an extra-large bathroom, television, fridge, air conditioning, phone, umbrellas, and WiFi zone.

Moreover, we are located in a strategic position, 800 meters from the sea and close to the beautiful historic center of Posada.

The rooms are on the upper floor, while on the ground floor we have the Trattoria-Pizzeria, which has become a meeting point for food lovers in a few years. There are 40 seats in the external veranda and 25 seats inside. The menu is rich, especially in seafood and land appetizers, strictly handmade first courses (Ravioli, Gnocchetti, Gulurgiones, Fregula, etc.), while the second courses are abundant with rich grilled fish and meat cooked on the grill. The wine list includes the best regional labels.

Public parking lots are only a few meters away from the rooms.

My name is Marco Satta and together with my wife Caterina, we run our Bed and Breakfast-Trattoria Pizzeria. I worked for 6 years at the 4-star HOTEL restaurant I GIARDINI in Cala Ginepro, just a few kilometers from Orosei. Then, my wife and I managed a bar in the center of Posada for 8 years. In 2005, we realized our dream of opening a Bed and Breakfast with an attached Trattoria-Pizzeria. Our strengths are kindness, courtesy, and a focus on cleanliness. Additionally, all the ingredients for our cuisine are strictly chosen by me. Oh, I almost forgot the most important thing: our daughter Benedetta, the true mascot of our establishment.

If you choose to come in Sardinia you know very well why:
its geographical position, its history, its mild climate but above all its beautiful beaches and its emerald-green sea, one of the most marvellous region of the world.
Our Locanda is situated in Posada, a charming medieval centre in the north-east coast of Sardinia, at only a 5 minute walk from the sea. Posada, near the mouth of the river of the same name, was once a power-base for the sorrounding districts. The old town and the castle, (Castello della Fava probably built in 1200 by the “Giudici” of Gallura) are perched on a huge limestone block. To get to the castle, climb up to the old centre, the Castello della Fava is a five minute climb up steps above the square and you will be rewarded by a sweeping panorama around the coast and banks of Posada river. In the old centre you can admire the medieval church of Sant’Antonio Abate but you can find other numerous archaeological settlements in Posada’s area.
Posada can be easily reach from Olbia (with its Port Isola Bianca and its Airport Costa Smeralda) along the 131 bis highway towards Nuoro, at about 50 km take the junction to Posada and....

We stayed for 10 days in this structure. There is nothing to say, excellent location, 500 meters away from the beach. The restaurant of the structure offers excellent quality food. There is nothing to say, I recommend it. A big thank you to Marco, the owner, and to all the staff, very kind and professional, especially to the girl who prepared the breakfasts, who made us feel at home. The homemade pastries made by her are excellent.

I stayed for one night at this bed and breakfast and we had a great time. The owners Marco and Caterina were kind and helpful, we were able to have dinner at their restaurant located on the ground floor where the food was good and at the end of the meal they offered a delicious homemade myrtle liqueur as a digestive. Highly recommended and super. Greetings to Marco and Caterina.

The room was clean and efficient, great that there was a fridge in the room. The only downside was the bed; I am 185cm tall and definitely an XL bed would have been better for me.
