Malu is the name given to the B&B, which is short for Marialuisa. In 2005, as an English teacher, I accepted the invitation from the municipality of Turin to open my home to visitors during the Winter Olympics the following year. I had always wanted to open my home to others, so I seized the opportunity.

In the thirteen years of running the B&B, we have met many people, many of whom have become friends lasting throughout the years. Some even return after years, and others recommend us to their friends visiting Turin.

For the past three years, I have been retired, so I have more time to pamper guests, to advise them on places to try regional specialties, to inform them about the public transportation that best connects our B&B to the city center or to other countless places of interest that the city and the region offer, or to chat with them in the evening.

In my free time, I pursue my interests: reading, English-language films, art programs, gardening, cooking, walking and biking in the park, and going to the gym.

My husband and I stayed for one night, we had a good time. Mrs. Maria Luisa was very kind and helpful in providing us with information on transportation, well-served area by buses (she even offered us the tickets we were missing). Simple and tasty breakfast, croissant and chocolate cake specially made for us. The only downside, the bathroom... provided with everything necessary, but in need of modernization.

We stayed for 3 nights; truly excellent experience. Large, clean room with every service at our disposal. The breakfast every morning gave that touch of "homemade" that made us feel at home. Mrs. Maria Luisa has always been uniquely kind; always available and ready to welcome us with a smile. The B&B's location is about 40 minutes from the city center by bus, but with Torino's local transport it was absolutely not a problem. The area is quiet and away from traffic. If I return to Torino, I already know where to stay and I highly recommend it to everyone.

We stayed for four nights. Mrs. Maria Luisa immediately made us feel at home even though we were not, she was kind and caring with us helping us in every way. The room is very comfortable with all the amenities, very clean with a good breakfast. If I had to go back there, I would definitely choose it.
