Corte del Gallo: an independent villa surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, among centuries-old olive trees, characteristic dry stone walls and terraces expertly cultivated with vineyards.. and, in front, the gaze stretches unlimited over the Ligurian Sea.
Located right in the center of the Cinque Terre National Park, at the gates of the ancient village of Corniglia, Corte del Gallo offers its guests an incomparable sea view.
A large and well-kept flower garden welcomes guests, who have at their disposal a solarium equipped with comfortable sunbeds and a shower, equipped corners for reading and conversation, for moments of relaxation and meditation, lulled by the sound of waves crashing on the cliff.
All rooms enjoy a sea view, are equipped with private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, minibar with drinks and local wine, kettle provided with tea, coffee, herbal teas, air conditioning, personal hygiene products, safe.
Breakfast is served in the splendid garden facing the sea or in the cozy indoor lounge, and is prepared by us using organic products from the Val di Vara.
Corte del Gallo is located exactly in the center of the Cinque Terre National Park (SP), in the municipality of Vernazza, near the beautiful village of Corniglia.
The favorable location allows you to reach all the resorts of the Riviera in a few minutes by train: Vernazza and Manarola (5 minutes), Riomaggiore and Monterosso (8 minutes), La Spezia (13 minutes).

At Roberto and Claudia's home we felt like we were at a friends' house. Friendly and helpful, their travel tips were essential to visit such a beautiful area of our Italy. If you seek peace and tranquility, you are in the right place... plus the proximity to the train station is a key point to visit the 5 lands and beyond... all truly wonderful. The location near the train station is great. Trains do not bother. Roberto is very helpful, showed us a free parking space. Breakfast in the garden with sea view is great! We really liked it, Thank you Roberto!

We stayed at the Corte del Gallo for 3 nights. Claudia and Roberto are very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The B&B is very close to the railway station and a 10 min walk from the village. (We appreciated being away from the village and the crowds!) In the garden there are plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the view! Our room had a door going into the garden with a gorgeous view of the sea. We liked the design of the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there was a water kettle in the room, everything was clean. The breakfast was served in the garden. There was jam, cheese, ham, honey, butter, fresh fruit salad!, fruit, bread, cereals, yogurt, cakes) and of course: great Italian coffee, or tea, or American coffee. I can only recommend the Corte del Gallo.

Very warm welcome, Roberto and Claudia are very attentive to their guests, provide excellent advice for visiting the Cinque Terre. Beautiful accommodation, large and impeccable room, perfect bedding, and very varied and plentiful breakfast. I highly recommend.

Claudia and Roberto were fantastic hosts, very kind and helpful. We were greeted with open arms (even after arriving earlier than what I said it would be). We were provided with maps and loads of information on what we should aim to do. In fact we changed a few plans we add in light of Claudia's recommendation and we weren't disappointing at all. The house and room were great and had all we needed (plus a fantastic view of the ocean at breakfast) and it had the plus that it was very close to the station which helped hop from town to town. I would recommend without a doubt this place to everyone.

Very good establishment, well located with a sublime view, and lovely owners. The breakfast is great, the room is very nice and comfortable with a very beautiful bathroom (in 'Corte del Gallo' style). Only downside: you can hear the train from time to time! The price, like a bit everywhere in Italy, seems a bit high to me, especially in mid-season.

This B&B is perfectly situated if you plan to spend a few days in the Cinque Terre and don't mind driving along the narrow roads leading to Corniglia. It is very conveniently located near the train station in town, facilitating access to the rest of the Cinque Terre and places like Portovenere. Parking is on the street in front of the property and costs 10 euros per day, but is available (a plus). Claudia and Roberto are excellent hosts, they will do everything they can to make your stay more enjoyable, including competing for who makes the best Cappuccino for you. The only downside for us was that we were at the property in mid-June, before the air conditioning unit was turned on for the season, and the weather was quite hot and humid at night. We would be happy to return to this property and highly recommend it.

Lovely B&B located just up the road from the train station in Corniglia, a 10-minute walk further up the hill to the village of Corniglia. Beautiful terraced gardens offering privacy to lounge, read a book, or have a quiet picnic dinner and a bottle of local wine overlooking the Mediterranean. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. We had a back bedroom (not ocean view), but the easy access from our room to the side garden and the common room ocean views made up for it! Highly recommended!

The owners are two exquisite, kind, and very friendly people. We felt like family. From the outside of the establishment, you can enjoy a splendid view directly over a flat and crystal clear sea. Go there and you will see.
