Description
The B&B B.E.A. maison is the result of a careful restoration of an ancient villa built around 1800. It is located on a gentle hill, surrounded by olive groves with a splendid sea view.
The B&B offers free WiFi, a garden with barbecue facilities, and private parking. The newly built rooms are furnished with solid wood furniture from the early 1900s, hand-painted. Each room is different in style and colors, but will provide you with the utmost comfort. TV, air conditioning, heating, private bathroom, and sea view are available in each room.
Each room is for 2 or 3 people. Prices are based on 2 people and one room.
The B&B is located near the starting point of the Cai trails and is the ideal starting point for visiting the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere, and Portofino. The distance from the train station is just 8 minutes by car or 10 minutes by public transport. In just 13 minutes by public transport, you can reach the ferry dock for the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, and Lerici.
The villa belonged to my great-grandparents, who, together with sharecroppers, cultivated the land. Later, my grandparents also decided to move to the villa, restoring the estate in the mid-1900s. I spent my childhood here among daisies, fireflies, and centuries-old olive trees.
Last year, the possibility of returning to this house and fulfilling my dream arose. I restored the estate and transformed part of it into an elegant B&B, while the other part became a home for me and my family.

Beautiful house located in a quiet area and well decorated, pleasant garden. The location is a 3/4h walk from the center and the La Spezia train station, to visit the 5 Lands by train. The absent owner who unfortunately communicated only through messages. No welcome or friendliness. We had to find all the information by ourselves, some documents in the room being incomplete. The breakfast consisted of pre-packaged products, with expired foods... We are disappointed and do not really recommend this place...

The structure is in a very quiet area. Beautiful view and you can see it from the window of the room. TOP breakfast. Managers very helpful. The common areas are very well equipped and nicely furnished. Only "flaw" very small bathroom. Overall I would say 8. 5.

The structure has a fantastic view. For young people, the structure is perfectly usable, while it can be inconvenient for those who have difficulty moving to climb the very steep stairs to access. The rooms are very well-kept, the bathroom has what is needed but the sink and mirror could be a bit larger. The breakfast was decent, it's convenient to have parking, the location is great for the view but a bit inconvenient if you want to go to the center, although you can manage with the car. The structure has very nice common areas like a garden with multiple levels with tables, chairs, and deckchairs, just don't have problems with some insects flying around the fruit trees. Payment is to be made in cash.

Premesso che siamo stati spostati in altra struttura diversa da quella che avevamo scelto, abbiamo pagato 80 euro per una stanza (con bagno chimico e arredamento pseudo shabbychic di dubbio gusto) che non corrispondeva affatto alla descrizione delle foto inviate.
La camera si trovava in un appartamento piú simile ad una dimora per universitari squattrinati che turisti adulti.
La signora ci ha poi fornito una ridicola ricevuta senza timbro nè numero della stessa.

A great place to stay in La Spezia, especially if you need car parking.
Ale was a great host and the accomodation and breakfasts were very good value for money.
The walk into the centre and back was manageable but on the strenuous side due mainly to the hilly terrain that La Spezia is built on.
