Hello! My name is Emanuela and I am from Rome. I absolutely love lemons and the sea. I enjoy reading a lot and taking walks to relax. Traveling excites me and makes me feel alive. I was born in Rome and grew up in a neighborhood called EUR, which many tourists are not familiar with, but it is very interesting from an architectural perspective. I lived there until twenty years ago, when I moved to the center of Rome, an experience that completely disrupted my lifestyle. Now I know the city well, but wandering its streets always gives me a feeling of surprise and great pleasure. I invite those who have never had the opportunity to visit this city to do so, maybe to discover unknown or already famous but always fascinating places. Rione Monti is the oldest district of Rome. I like the idea that the houses are resting their foundations of ancient Roman buildings and walking around the narrow streets you still have the feeling to walk the narrow lanes of the Suburra.
Then reach the Colosseum and the Roman Forum on foot through the beautiful Colle Oppio Park and the Domus Aurea then touching is a great pleasure. The neighborhood is lively but not touristy, many the services (restaurants, food, rent a bike or scooter, etc), and the pleasant feeling to experience the city as one of its inhabitants.
For those who want to dedicate their stay to visit museums suggest the Roma Pass. per receive discounts on tickets.
