Museum Fantoni
The artistic patrimony of the Fantoni Foundation, exhibited in the homonymous house-museum, includes drawings, wooden and marble works and terracotta, wooden and plaster models. Among the collections you can find on the one hand examples elaborated by different generations of the Fantoni masters from the XVI to the XVIII century and, on the other pieces converging in the workshop from other artistic workplaces in northern Italy. Beside these collections there is a fund that is prevalently of historical interest and that is composed of a very rich archive of memoirs, employment contracts, epistolaries and notions of manufacturing processes.
A widw selection of works is exhibited in the original and suggestive Fantoni family living and working environment, allowing a faithful reconstruction of the culture, lifestyle and manufacturing methods of a typical local artistic-artisan workshop.
