We are located in the Municipality of San Cesario sul Panaro, but being located from the center of this municipality, we are very comfortable for the city of Modena. Even the city of Castelfranco Emilia is just a few kilometers from us. The A1 Modena Sud motorway exit can be reached in about 15 minutes by car, while the new Valsamoggia motorway exit in 20 minutes.

Slightly dated property but very clean inside. The garden is not as described on the website. The breakfast is very basic: the savory options are missing (it would take very little to add some ham and cheese), and there were no homemade cakes that one expects to find in a B&B of this kind. The location is poor because it is situated on a bend of the very busy Via Emilia. I consider the price paid of €109 too high given the above.

Beautifully renovated, functional, historic, and clean structure. Stunning, rustic, warm, clean, and tidy room. Very nice location, air conditioning, TV, clean and tidy bathroom. Abundant and delicious breakfast. Lorenzo, the owner, is a very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and nice person. We had a great time and will definitely return. Thank you.

Lorenzo is very kind, helpful, and respectful. Spacious room, very comfortable bed! The only downside is the noise from the cars, but only until a certain evening hour.

We stayed for two nights for New Year's Eve. The structure is quiet and well furnished. The manager is nice and with whom to exchange a few words and is very attentive to the needs of the guests. It is a bit outside Modena in a quiet place and far from the city chaos. If you have a car available, it is very easy to reach the center. The quality price ratio is very good.

Highly recommended. My husband and I spent a weekend in this bed and breakfast which turned out to be a wonderful surprise. Well cared for in every detail, very clean and managed by Lorenzo, a kind and helpful young man. We promised ourselves to return as soon as possible.

Very beautiful structure and recently renovated in a perfect area for my needs. It is located between Modena and Reggio. Really lovely attic room with exposed beams and a very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom furnished in a simple but tasteful way. Good breakfast available upon request from the manager... I would have appreciated some homemade sweets! It would have really added a homey atmosphere! Manager easygoing, helpful, and very kind and friendly. I enjoyed the stay, I would recommend it!

Although we stayed only one night and spent little time in the room, we liked the property, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is very nice. The breakfast was of good quality and the staff's courtesy was greatly appreciated, I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Well done!

This place is really lovely! It is an old farm that was refurbished into a bed and breakfast, rooms are big and cute. I went with my family to visit the Lamborghini museum and we were really happy with the place and we really recommend it! The owner was really nice and gave us very good recommendations.

A short weekend break, a quick visit to Castelfranco Emilia to meet up with friends I hadn't seen since November. This delightful bed and breakfast was a discovery! Open for only a year and managed impeccably! I will definitely return to Il Contado - Room and Breakfast! Excellent and abundant breakfast, rooms furnished with care, fabulous linens! Great value for money! Just a stone's throw from Modena and Bologna in the beautiful countryside.
