Description
Nestled in the hills of the Bidente Valley, between Romagna and Tuscany, Agriturismo Campo Rosso is the ideal place for those who want to slow down, breathe fresh air, and rediscover the pleasures of simple things.
Here, you'll stay in a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere, surrounded by meadows, woods, animals, and views that invite relaxation. The nearby trails allow for pleasant walks or bike rides, while the garden and panoramic veranda offer perfect spaces for reading, stargazing, or simply enjoying the silence of the countryside.
Campo Rosso is also an educational farm and a place of experiences: throughout the year, we organize foraging activities, Romagna cooking workshops, animal encounters, nature hikes, tastings, and opportunities to discover the region and its traditions.
Our breakfasts are prepared with local products and ingredients from our organic farm, emphasizing seasonality, authenticity, and local flavors.
The farmhouse has 9 simple and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, some decorated with works by young local artists. A welcoming place to relax and feel at home, immersed in the tranquility of the Romagna Apennines.
For main meals, we have agreements with local restaurants and trattorias, easily reached within a few minutes' drive from the farmhouse.

Breakfast
Restaurant
We passionately and enthusiastically share our love for nature, healthy and genuine products, the territory, traditions, and local culture with those who sit at our table.
We use organic flours made from ancient stone-ground grains to make our handmade pasta, bread with sourdough, piadina made with lard from Romagna's black pig or high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
Breakfast pastries and biscuits are baked and prepared every week with fresh eggs from our free-range chickens that roam around the yard.
The kitchen is open for groups, workshops, and events. We passionately and enthusiastically share our love for nature, for healthy and authentic products, for the local area, traditions, and culture with those who sit at our table.
We use organic, stone-ground flours from ancient grains to make our pasta dishes, sourdough bread, and homemade piadinas made with Mora Romagnola lard or high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
Breakfast cakes and biscuits are baked and prepared every week with fresh eggs from our hens, who roam freely in the farmyard.
We grow, process, and preserve vegetables from our garden and fruit from our trees.
We harvest wild herbs.

I'm Katia Sandri, owner of Agriturismo Campo Rosso and the organic farm, which I launched in 2017. I come from a family of hoteliers with farming roots between Longiano and Santa Sofia. After graduating in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna, I pursued various professional careers that, step by step, led me to rediscover my connection with the land.
My passion for food and wine drew me to the world of wine and led me to earn a sommelier diploma, opening the doors to exploring local agricultural production, gastronomic traditions, and biodiversity.
Equestrianism also played an important role: having discovered horses as an adult, I became an equestrian guide and turned this passion into a lifestyle.
Today, Campo Rosso is born from the encounter between nature, gastronomic culture, and rural hospitality: a place to share authentic experiences, local traditions, and the pleasure of experiencing the countryside in a simple and mindful way.

Located a short distance from the main road and the center of Civitella di Romagna, the farmhouse is located in a panoramic area immersed in the green of the first hills of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, at the beginning of the road that, along the Suasia stream, leads to the abandoned village of Buggiana.
