Description

B&B Belfiore is located in the historical center, in the oldest part of the city on the outskirts of the restricted traffic zone, a few meters away from a road with no restrictions where you can park your car. It is also not far from the Municipal Historic Center paid parking lot, which costs 4. 20 euros per day.

A few meters away is the bus stop number 2, which goes to and from the train station.

Situated in the heart of the Medieval city, you can reach the square with the Cathedral and the Estense Castle, as well as many palaces that still bear witness to the past magnificence of the Dukes of Este, with a pleasant walk in the pedestrian area.

Close by are the Walls, 9 km of fortifications that surround the city, built in the Middle Ages, a true oasis of peace and greenery.

Just a few steps away from the Architecture University.

The house offers exclusive access and a welcoming family atmosphere. The breakfast includes fresh products, homemade pastries, toast, seasonal fruit, jams, honey, cereals, yogurt, as well as tea, coffee, fruit juices, all available for guests to enjoy in privacy and at their desired time. We will also be happy to accommodate any special dietary needs.

The apartment is in an excellent location, in the oldest part of the city and located on the ground and first floors. For these reasons, even during the day it is necessary to turn on the light, but it is furnished and stocked not like a bed and breakfast, but like a real home and above all it has a delightful little garden full of plants and visited by birds and some wonderful cats: in short, almost a Renaissance hortus! Those who stay temporarily will be able to cook without having to procure salt, oil, coffee, etc. because everything is available. Mrs. Anna Maria is very attentive to the guests and very present.

Well-maintained structure down to the smallest details, spacious and very clean. Abundant breakfast with fresh croissants. Close to the historic center parking and less than a 10-minute walk from the main square. The owner is very kind. We had a great time and I highly recommend it!

I was hoping for something positive, well, expectations exceeded greatly. From the structure to breakfast, passing through the myriad of, small, but important and meaningful attentions of the manager, Mrs. Anna Maria, everything was "magical", tasteful, familiar, relaxing and at the same time stimulating. During our pilgrimage tour, we unfortunately stayed only for one night at the beautiful B&B Belfiore, in the charming historic center of Ferrara. We felt very comfortable in this ancient house, carefully restored and tastefully furnished. Anna-Maria gave us a very warm welcome, good advice, and a great breakfast. The small garden is a pleasant attraction. Ferrara deserves another stay and gladly with Anna-Maria.

At 12 minutes walking from Ferrara cathedral, but in a very quiet part of the center, Belfiore is the perfect place for couples, lonely business travelers or smaller families. The place is very spacious, charming, and cool in summer. Breakfast is abundant, and self-managed, making it very convenient. Anna is a perfect host, very caring about her guests. Highly recommended!

The structure far exceeded our expectations. You have exclusive access to an entire two-level apartment, fully equipped with everything you need, even for cooking... and there's a really large kitchen area where you can prepare meals. The spaces are spacious and very well maintained. The central location is ideal for visiting Ferrara, shopping, and dining at the best restaurants... everything is literally a 2-minute walk away. \nAnd then there's Anna, a wonderful host who welcomes you warmly and makes you truly feel at home. \nThank you for everything Anna, we had a great time. I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast during the Christmas period and I must say that I had a great time. First of all, I had a whole apartment to myself, equipped with every comfort. Furthermore, it was always clean and welcoming. The owner was also always available, kind, and attentive to details (just think that, upon my arrival, in addition to explaining all the rules, she left me a list of all the restaurants and trattorias where you can taste local cuisine). Finally, the breakfast was always great and plentiful. If I were to return to Ferrara, I would book again at this property.

Very welcoming structure. Mrs. Anna Maria welcomes you with great sympathy and kindness. Very varied and abundant breakfast, including a genuine homemade dessert. Very practical structure, arranged on two levels: ground floor living area with a well-equipped kitchen, upper floor sleeping area connected by an internal staircase. There is also a small garden. Highly recommended.

I found Casa Belfiore online on this site absolutely by chance, but it was a real stroke of luck. It was my first experience in a B&B and I am very happy to have stayed here. The property is strategically located, in about ten minutes you can reach the city center and easily reach the tourist attractions and everything you may need or want to visit. The area, despite being close to the center, is extremely quiet and peaceful. Anna Maria, the owner, is a special person with a heart of gold: lovely, welcoming, helpful. You can see the effort and care she puts into making her guests feel at home, and her homemade sweets for breakfast are delicious. If I ever come back to Ferrara, I already know where to stay. 10/10, congratulations!

First of all, I would like to underline the kindness and competence of the owner, Mrs. Anna Maria, who made me and my wife spend a wonderful holiday; the property is very functional, well furnished and clean, located in the center of an interesting and beautiful Ferrara (in a limited traffic area) with a small, quiet and lovely garden with intense colors and scents produced by the numerous and varied plants and flowers; the four breakfasts, to be prepared in the beautiful and well-equipped kitchen, were replenished every morning with various croissants never the same; the value for money is really excellent. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic house from the 1450s, shared with the owner as a wonderful vacation rental. Calling it a B&B is misleading. We had use of the kitchen and living room downstairs, and we had a very spacious bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom upstairs. The owner, Anna Maria, was wonderful. She provided the ingredients (eggs, hams, cheese, yogurt, fruits, breads, pastries) and we made breakfast how and when we wanted. She baked a delicious apple strudel, and also provided the very unique Ferranese bread for us to try. She had restaurant and must-see site info, plus plenty of maps and books about Ferrara and the surrounding areas. We communicated well, although she apologized for her "not so good" English, it was far better than my meager Italian. She had a Google translation app on her phone that we made good use of! Her home was spotless, full of artwork and antiques that added to its character. It also had, according to my husband, "the most comfortable bed in Italy". I agree. Ferrara is a great small city, and Anna Maria's Belfiore B&B is a wonderful home base for your explorations. One of our all-time favorites.

The B&B "Belfiore" is located a few steps from the historic center and the ZTL, in a quiet area where you can start your discovery journey of one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. The structure has two floors, on the ground floor there is the kitchen while the bedroom is located on the upper floor, therefore it is not suitable for those with motor disabilities (only downside). The owner delighted us with sweets made especially by her (delicious!) and also ventured for the first time into gluten-free cooking for my girlfriend who suffers from celiac disease, with more than excellent results! Clean, welcoming, with a garden well taken care of by the owner. In essence, we were fully satisfied with our stay at the B&B "Belfiore".

We spent a wonderful weekend in March in Ferrara. Beautiful discovery of the city, but above all this wonderful B&B that was truly a little corner of paradise for us. Located in the heart of Ferrara, in one of its silent and characteristic alleyways, B&B Belfiore is a loft equipped with everything you need to feel at home, all seasoned with a taste and refinement that makes you discover every corner of it always with pleasant amazement. Breakfast is personally prepared by the very kind and helpful landlady: a wide assortment of milk, coffee, tea, herbal teas, jams, cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh bread... but above all strudel and cakes made by her, you can smell them the night before in the oven while she prepares them! The care of also serving organic and sustainable products is part of the overall attention that the landlady puts into every detail. We were ecstatic, surely if we pass by those parts again it will be a real pleasure to return. We left a piece of our heart there.
