Description

The "Low Cost Ferrara" guesthouse is located in the historic center of Ferrara, in the ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara.

Completely renovated inside, it now offers essential and clean rooms to those who want to stay in Ferrara in a simple way at a truly affordable price.

Low Cost Ferrara represents a modern concept in hospitality services, giving guests the opportunity to find services and comfort but above all autonomy and independence, always with a "Low Cost" perspective.

Due to its informal and lively atmosphere and the services offered, customers of all ages and from all over the world stay with us.

Finally, being located in the historic center of Ferrara, just a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian area, it is possible to reach the main tourist attractions of the city in just a few minutes. We also remind you of the direct connection to Cona hospital by bus, which departs right in front of the entrance to the accommodation.

THE ROOMS
Our guests will find completely autonomous rooms with separate entrances and exits, equipped with heating for the winter season and large ceiling fans for the summer.

The rooms can accommodate 1 person (single room), 2 people (double room with single or double beds), or 3 people (3 single beds or one double bed and one single bed).

Each room has a bathroom outside, with a shower and bidet; orthopedic mattresses and slatted frames, combined with excellent pillow quality, allow for optimal rest for everyone.

Inside each room, you will find a flat-screen TV with digital terrestrial channels and Wi-Fi internet coverage to connect your own PC for free.

All rooms are provided with sheets, towels, and bathrooms with shower gel, soap, and hairdryers.

Daily cleaning of the rooms and three times a day of the bathrooms is also guaranteed.

Always with the aim of keeping our prices low, we allow our guests to enjoy breakfast in the nearby bars (some with special prices for our guests).

In any case, vending machines with drinks and food are available 24 hours a day inside the accommodation.

The structure is very clean, obviously it's an economical solution so no air conditioning, window overlooking the main busy street and shared bathroom but I chose it mainly for the price and central location. The only thing that bothered me is that I had booked a double and a single room and I found two doubles so no double bed. The girl who welcomed us was very kind and friendly.

Well-organized and cute structure considering the price. Unfortunately, the window facing the busy street didn't allow us to keep it open at night. We couldn't find the remote control for the air conditioner, and having to keep the window closed made us suffer a bit from the heat. But again, for €40 per night for just one night, everything is fine. The management is super helpful and precise.

Beautiful and well-furnished structure, great location, and friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. The only flaw is the parking, it's true that it's free along the street where the B&B is located, but it's easier to get a meeting with the pope. In any case, apart from parking, B&B recommended.

Clean bed and breakfast with nice, simple and spacious rooms. There's everything you need. The fan was really essential. The only downside is the lack of breakfast, which would have made the value for money perfect, also on the website it says there are affiliated bars for guests, but in reality there aren't. I still highly recommend it also for its proximity to the historic center, 10 minutes on foot.

You enter an ancient building in Ferrara where at the end of the corridor you can see a well-kept little garden, the room is spacious, very bright, the bathroom large, the cleanliness perfect. The owner, Mrs. Caterina, is kind, discreet and makes excellent coffees in her bar where breakfast is served, just around the corner. If you prefer, she serves it in the room.

B&B Low Cost Ferrara is a good solution for those who want to stay in Ferrara without spending exorbitant amounts. The location is very convenient, just a step away from Via Savoranola and the center, the Castle, the Mammut: Low Cost Ferrara is truly strategic. I was welcomed by the very kind manager, who waited for me on site to hand me the key. The structure is simple, essential but comfortable: nice furniture, well-kept, new and pleasant. The only drawbacks during my stay were the room that was adjacent to the bathroom, waking me up every time someone went to use it, and the centralized heating that could not be manually adjusted for the room. In conclusion, I would return but would ask for a room far from the bathroom, and I would definitely recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

The room is cozy and clean. The only downside is that the shared bathroom was occupied all evening until 10 pm, so we couldn't take a shower. In the morning, the other guests woke up at 5:50 and started making a huge noise, slamming doors, talking loudly, noises in the bathroom that woke us all up at 6:00. The walls are poorly soundproofed and everything was heard too loudly.

I stayed only for one night in this establishment, unfortunately. All the furnishings are new and clean: the environment is the result of a renovation done with excellent architectural taste. The manager was fantastic: he reserved an apartment for us at the same price as a room. The location is very good, inside the city walls but outside the ZTL: there is no parking, but I left the car on the street and had no problems. I highly recommend this B&B, and if I return to Ferrara I will definitely book here.

Spartan structure on the fifth floor of a condominium, but with an elevator. The manager is very kind, available to provide useful advice on everything, friendly and affable. He allowed us to bring our bicycles to the room, considering the risk that they might be unsafe in the internal courtyard of the condominium. Spacious room, clean with towels and everything needed for the shower. Very positive quality/price ratio.
