Located in a central area, between the bell tower of the main church, the town hall, and all the main services of the town, Preludio is practically situated along Siris Avenue (the main avenue of Nova Siri), while at the same time being shielded from the noises of the city by a small and welcoming side street.
Just a snap of the fingers away from the evening promenade that leads to all the services and entertainment venues of the summer nightlife, the B&B is just a short distance from the sea: simply walk or use the bicycles we offer to our guests along Siris Avenue and you will reach the beach.
Upon arrival, you can conveniently leave your car right outside the house or in the free parking area of the town hall and retrieve it when you depart. You can enjoy your vacation or a few days of relaxation in a comfortable and welcoming structure, recently renovated and meticulously cared for. You can choose the type of breakfast you prefer and take advantage of a brand-new and convenient kitchen to share with three rooms for lunch or dinner.
The B&B is equipped with independent air conditioning, wifi, kitchen, TV, en-suite bathroom, fridge, and bicycle service.
For those who love wild beaches immersed in nature, the managers, Ivano and Giulia, offer to be your guide to the most charming and pleasant places on our splendid beaches. We have conceived our bed and breakfast as an elegant, practical, and comfortable dwelling, where you can spend your holidays (or simply stay) in complete tranquility and privacy, while at the same time offering a window into a territory suspended between the past and the future, with its splendid landscapes that are still largely untouched and unexplored, as well as its immense natural, historical, and anthropological resources, which we would be delighted to introduce to you upon request.

The Preludio B&B is located in the center of the town, 300 meters from the train station, a short walk from the bus stop, and 600 meters from the sea.
Nova Siri Marina - The town, situated on the Lucanian Ionian coast, marks the border between Basilicata and Calabria, between breathtaking landscapes, flourishing countryside, protected forests, and the sandy and comfortable beaches of the Metapontine plain and the clear and pebbly seabeds of Calabria. Its name signifies the continuity with the ancient Siris and Magna Graecia, of which it preserves the remains and numerous archaeological sites in the nearby national museums, in the remains of its conqueror Eraclea, in the area of the temples of Metaponto, and in its unique, attractive, and wild archaeological area. Crossed by rivers and streams, which peacefully flow into the sea, drawing Mediterranean and exotic landscapes, inhabited by rare and precious flora and fauna, the marine center of the town (where the B&B is located) is the continuation of the medieval village of Bollita (now Nova Siri Paese), a historic center that overlooks the sea from its ancient hill.
And right after the hill, the Pollino mountain range with its national park, 45 minutes away from Matera, and all around, the sea, rivers, and hills, castles and ancient villages, shopping centers, nightclubs, and discos.

Central location. Room without bidet; very small shower even for a woman; room cleaning below sufficiency; clean linens and room cleaning absent for 5 days; air conditioner motor placed under the window (noisy). Common kitchen available with water offered by B&B Preludio, too bad the bottle was not sealed (used). Breakfast to be consumed in two bars in the village: gran caffè Essential provides a great breakfast.

The structure does not comply with the most basic anti-Covid-19 safety regulations. The kitchenette is 6 square meters for 8 people, room cleaning and linen change are non-existent. The distance from the sea is 2.5 km instead of the stated 800 meters. The owner is unpleasant and racist, with offensive behavior at a personal and national level, showing hatred towards southerners, especially Neapolitans. If it were a man, it would be worth kicking. I therefore warn anyone thinking of spending a holiday in Nova Siri to find another solution. Otherwise, everything is ok, the sea is beautiful, the people are friendly. One downside: her.

We stayed at the B&B Preludio for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom which was excellently cleaned. Giulia welcomed us with great availability and kindness, she recommended what to visit, where to eat and the beach. We felt at home! The beach is a few km away but easily reachable by car or bike.

Siamo stati per la prima volta in questa struttura e ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Il contatto e la comunicazione con il gestore ottimo, Il check in e check out ottimo. La stanza era pulitissima con tutto il necessario di cui uno ha bisogno ed era tutto nuovo: letti matrimoniale, TV, aria condizionato, il bagno, mobili, pavimento. Cé anche una cucina a parte da usare accessoriata. La Signora era molto cortese uno si sente come a casa sua.

Che dire di questo B&B, è semplicemente perfetto.
La signora Giulia è una persona squisita e gentile. La stanza dove eravamo noi aveva le finestre che davano in un vicoletto ma silenziosa al massimo.
Poi benché era fornita di cucina (nuova), noi non l'abbia amo utilizzata se non il frigorifero a disposizione per ogni stanza tutte condizionate (ce ne sono 3).
Ognuno ha un piano.
Lo Consiglio vivamente questo B&B per tante cose: centralissimo e comodo, per i posteggi non c'è problema, pur avendo prenotato per altra data la signora Giulia ha fatto il possibile per accontentarci con successo, a lei un ringraziamento particolare per avermi ospitato in ricorrenza di una situazione funeraria.

Nel complesso una buona struttura: pulita, accogliente e comoda. Ho solo ritenuto elevato il rapporto qualità prezzo in quanto il nostro bagno era privato, ma esterno, e situato proprio tra le due porte di ingresso delle altre camere.

Abbiamo alloggiato in 8 in questa struttura, non ci siamo trovati bene quasi in niente, nessuna possibilità di scegliere la colazione servita in struttura, distanza dal mare davvero eccessiva, più di 1 km.
Secondo la titolare avevamo una spiaggia convenzionata ma in realtà il prezzo di 10 euro al giorno ad ombrellone veniva già applicato dallo stabilimento per tutti i clienti, anche senza convenzione.
Mia cognata ha già richiesto ai gestori del sito di rettificare distanza per evitare che altre persone vengano mal indirizzate.

È la prima volta che faccio una recensione negativa di una struttura ma vorrei che altre persone non vengano imbrogliate! Primo problema: distanza dal mare, il gestore dichiara 450 mt la distanza effettiva è di 1300 mt! Segnalata la cosa al gestore ride e mi dice. Se pretendi di mettere i piedi in acqua, ovviamente la Signora Giulia è stata molto sarcastica. Secondo problema la colazione: da sito c'è specificata che è possibile scegliere la colazione al bar, servita o autonoma, appena arriviamo mi dice che essendo lei impegnata non ha tempo di servirci la colazione quindi ci da l'opzione delle brioches confezionate in struttura o bar, optiamo per 6 colazioni al bar e 2 in casa per i bimbi più piccoli con latte e biscotti. Al check out ovviamente facciamo presente a Giulia che metà dei prodotti negli scaffali erano scaduti e che al bar se i bambini volevano anche solo un succo al posto di caffè e brioches dovevamo pagare la differenza. Lei ovviamente dice che se volevano la colazione servita con le sue buone torte dovevamo chiedere e lei ci avrebbe fatto trovare tutto ogni mattina!
Struttura riordinata una sola volta in 6 giorni e lettino da campeggio con supplemento di 50 euro. So già che la recensione non sarà pubblicata ma spero che venga letta dai gestori del sito perché la descrizione che c'è della struttura non corrisponde al vero.

A prima vista il BeB è anonimo, all' interno della struttura si riconosce un ambiente curato e ben tenuto, ottima la pulizia e la disponibilità della signora Giulia sempre disponibile ad esaudire ogni vostra richiesta. Attenti al prezzo, alle maniglie delle porte che cigolano ed all' antipatico portone che non si chiude.
