This is a beautiful place. Maria, Rafael and Leonardo make you feel like part of the family. The location is close to beaches and two quality restaurants that we both found exceptional, all reachable on foot after about 500 metres of steep walking downhill and uphill. Then, new wondrous towns and beaches are only 15 minutes by car. A magnificent experience made even better by the hosts. Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation run by an incredibly warm and caring Italian family. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The welcome is family-like, authentic, and full of generosity. They really take care of you from start to finish. The place is simply magnificent: quiet, well-kept, with a stunning view, and located very close to the sea. It is the ideal spot to relax, enjoy the charm of southern Italy, and have a true local experience. I recommend it 100% and I will return without hesitation!

I had the pleasure of staying at La Giara in Maratea, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Very pleasant one-week stay in August. Pleasant structure, comfortable room equipped with an outdoor space with sofas, umbrella, and very useful clothesline for a beach holiday. The structure also has a very popular relaxation area for my son thanks to the pool. Special thanks to Maria, Veronica, and Raffaele for their friendliness and availability and for the rich breakfasts with homemade cakes and jams. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 3 days with a couple of friends. The owners are very friendly and attentive to satisfy every request. Family atmosphere, excellent treatment. Highly recommended.

Here for one night on the way for a motorcycle tour. Pleasant, clean and welcoming structure. Excellent hospitality and kindness of the hosts, Maria and Raffaele, and daughter-in-law Veronica. Breakfast not very abundant but all fresh. Excellent scrambled eggs by Raffaele and Maria's little cakes. Veronica extremely courteous and polite. No luxury but comfortable.

It has been years now that I choose to stay in a bed and breakfast when I travel. I choose them carefully, often giving more importance to hospitality than to comfort. This adventure in the Lucanian land ends here. Today I say goodbye to these two splendid hosts, Raffaele and Maria, who welcomed me as one of the family, pampering me with their strictly homemade cakes and with the products of their land, figs ricotta, hazelnuts. I will especially miss our chats, your stories, the view of the sea from what, even if for a few days, was my little terrace. This is how you made me feel, as if all of this were a bit mine too. Thank you for everything. We will meet again soon.

Cozy, well-kept and clean place, the owners are very kind people who welcomed us and pampered us as if we were family. The property is well located, close to the most beautiful beaches and a few minutes by car from Maratea and other tourist sites, so I can only recommend this B&B to spend a week of relaxation among nature, good food and culture. Rating 10!

The structure is located in a panoramic position, 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Acquafredda. The uphill path back from the beach is a bit tiring, but the view from the terrace of the B&B is very beautiful. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are very welcoming, air-conditioned, and very clean. Recommended for a relaxing vacation.
